I saw one of my YouTube sewist use this tape measure and explain it. I had to have it. Look up her more info and ordered it straight away. I love it. Took me a minute to figure it out from the little booklet, so I pulled up a YouTube video and it helped more. Now I don’t need anyone to help me to my measurements or their measurements and I'm more accurate with both. Highly recommend.

FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I received my FITINDEX Smart Body Tape Measure and as I took it out the box and placed the battery I could see the Bluetooth icon blinking. I opened the app to add the device and in the top right corner saw a tape measure icon. I thought to myself, “ I never saw that before.” Surely enough it was my tape measure already connected to my app. No steps needed by me, it just automatically connected. The use is also super simple. One button changes from from centimeters to inches the other is a check mark. Press the body part on app, measure and save. Takes 12 measurements around your body. Here is a mini review for another device, the scale. With my newly acquired and digitally accurate measurements, I return to the navy calculator to determine my body fat percentage. I used my neck and waist and enter the other info and the BF% given from the calculator was the exact same as the scale stated. Not sure about the algorithm used for the scale but it was nice to know it’s pretty accurate until I can get a DEXA scan. So it’s nice to know that my scale is giving me accurate numbers and this measuring tape helps keep a closer track on progress with its digital readout and decimals vs rounding up or down. I will definitely consider more products after that simple plug and play connection I had.

I have absolutely LOVED my tape for few years. But now its calibration is off by a half inch so I won't save my measurements because they aren't recording correctly. I cannot find in troubleshooting or reach anyone to see if this can be fixed. Disappointed in the change. However, I gave 4 stars for the several years of helpful, excellent tracking and measurements.

Just got my new fitindex measuring tape. It came with a battery and great instructions, so I was able to begin using it right away. I love that it works with the same app as the scale, so, I can use it without switching apps on my phone. It connected easily once I opened the app and turned on my Bluetooth. One of the things that I love is that I can easily take measurements without the aid of another person. The end of the tape locks into the device and sbugs up against my body with the push of a small button. I can log that measuement into my fitindex app by choosing the area that I measured and then by pressing the check mark to record it. The device automatically switches off. No need to worry about draining the battery because you forgot to turn it off. You can also switch between cm and inches just by touching the on/off button quickly. It will stay in the mode you select until you change it again. So far, I love this device. Ill add another review once I have used it for a few days. By the way, I have the fitindex scale.....it is amazing. Can't say anything bad about it. My husband and I both love and use it daily!!!

It works very well and everything records to the app. But it does turn itself off rather quickly. That's a bit irritating but after you have to use for a bit you get experience from it so you can eventually get your measurements done before it auto shuts off. I don't know about anyone else's item but mine started to break, piece by little piece, right from the first day. You have to be gentle with it as pieces just seemed to break off so easily. I bought this in June but no it's October and its just completely useless now, it doesn't even show power on! You can use it to manually measure yourself but of course why would you when you've bought it in the first place for it to just appear digitally and then send your measurements straight to the app. At least it did last for some months, I guess. I wouldn't recommend it if you need this to keep track of your fitness journey as I have been doing because now you'll be needing to buy another item to help you out after a couple of months, just like I will be doing.

Pretty handy little measuring tape. Finally you can get an exact reading of measurements. Some you may like and some not so much. 😂 Very well made and sturdy.

My fiance and I are on a weight loss journey. I felt besides the old-fashioned scale (we have a smart one that tracks everything), it would also be beneficial to track the physical changes on our bodies by measuring everything. I did some shopping on Amazon and found this Smart Body tape measure. I think this is a really neat and convenient tool to use for doing body measurements with, especially vs. not using any digital system at all. The system seems very accurate, and the app is simple to use. Now for the cons; just as the title states, the battery cover and power saving feature. The battery cover on mine does not stay on for nothing. It twists in place and then comes off very easily, so I'm probably going to have to put a piece of tape on it. That's very stupid and such a simple thing to deal with. My second huge con to this product is it's energy saver feature. After the device is powered for so many seconds and the tape measure is not moved, it will power off. This is INCREDIBLY annoying when trying to measure yourself. You'll get the tape situated and ready to measure, only for the unit to be turned off. Then you have to frustratingly and often awkwardly try to turn it back on without having the tape move. It's sad, this device seems to accurately measure well, connects with bluetooth well, and have a great app. But something as stupid as a battery cover and power saving feature they couldn't get right makes me not want to recommend this product.

Feature-rich, but difficult to use. The tape's material is sticky and sticks to your skin. Therefore, you will have difficulty measuring your chest, especially where it sticks to the bottom of your back, even though it looks good on your chest or abdomen. Also, as the tape is very narrow, it twists, which can hinder the measurement. The software is good on the other hand. Would I but it again? No.

First of all, I was so impressed by the sleek product design. It is very compact and the measuring type itself is made in Germany. I would like to give 10 Star for the ease of use if I could. It is a user friendly product. I just insert a small battery that came with the device, and the whole setup went intuitively just by connecting the bluetooth. Since I have already installed the FITINDEX app for my smart scale, I do not need to install a new app for the digital measure tape. I am so impressed with the UX of their app. I can just simply switch between my smart scale and the tape by tapping the icon at the top corner. As soon as I pull the tape out, both the device and the app has already displayed measurement. I can also track all the measurements of each body part on a timeline graph. Good Job! I was thinking this cute device is not just good for athletes but also for the tailors. :) If they make the device in different colors(both the device and the tape), I will definitely buy this to gift my friends. Highly recommended!
