Metal Marking Paint Pen - Industrial Marker For Writing & Drawing on Metals

As an average Joe and DYI'er, I was replacing the outer and inner tie rods on my vehicle and I wanted to feel the *rush* of being a real mechanic so I purchased this to mark the placement of the outer tie rod with the "jam" nut. And woah baby, let me tell you, this thing did not disappoint. Update: for what its worth - 2 months after the repair and I am pleasantly surprised to report the pen has not dried up. Try this pen out if you're on the fence like I was. Great value (will probably be the only paint pen i'll ever need to buy for a lifetime), the marks I made on my suspension lasted for the purpose of my project, the tip didn't get gunked up when marking the suspension, and super easy to use - just shake and use.

It worked great I needed to mark my switches so I knew what I was switching . High visibility now I can see my lpad settings on my speakers from across the room water soluble in case I need to change markings

This pen is great for labeling sockets. Really comes in handy.

Works great even when the metal starts getting hot. Took a coworker shooting and she wanted to shoot a pink pistol I don't own a pink pistol so used this to draw a bunch of pink "twigs and berries" on the slide of a g26. Held up great actually had to scrub the slide with a nylon brush for the better part of an hour to get it off.

Will recommend marking paint pens and a couple of the ones that are on sale for under five bucks… worth it. Works great 👍… useful for a lot of things to be marked as good 👍. Surely I will get it again after this one I’m done with it… thank you ☺️

Great product. I really love this pen, I used in the timing chain and some internal engine part and not even the hot oil wiped it. Solid color, the ink flows smoothly and naturally and makes the pen use very easy. And of course such a great value. I have it in my toolbox now for almost every mechanic jobs.

Very good product, but a bit dear.

I bought this to use primarily to mark the timing chain, cam phaser, and cam once top dead center was found (part of the procedure of changing rocker arms and lifters). Once the metal parts were cleaned with brake clean the paint pen worked flawlessly although it took a bit longer than expected to dry. There is lots of paint in the reservoir so I also used this pen to mark key engine wire harness to identify the lock down pipes. All in all a good experience.

Both Yellow and White work perfectly for marking steel. Hint to manufacturer, make a thinner tip and call it Steel Layout Marker!

This has proved to be very useful around my workshop. The ink flows okay and dries quickly, easy to use and good value as far as I am concerned.
