Lovely 😋
This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased this olive oil. It’s definitely the best tasting I’ve ever bought, hence the 2nd purchase. Shame the tin doesn’t have a lip/spout to prevent dripping down the sides

Original top quality Greek olive oil
Excellent pure Greek olive oil!! As a native greek my self i suggest this oil 100%...The bitterness and the inense flavour are the ultimate indicators that this oil is extremely healthy and superior!!

Nice, but take extra care when opening...
Tastes very nice, and almost as peppery as our usual brand (which just keeps on going up and up) -and this one is currently at a more acceptable price. But, the opening! Beware! The nozzle came out in my hand and I ended up losing some of the oil. I've opened enough of these types of olive oil cans to know how to do it - never had this happen. And I'm not very strong, either! So just a word to the wise to prevent it happening to you...

CONSISTENT QUALITY OF THE BEST OIL
I've used Odysea Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil for years. To my mind and also that of a very well known Michelin Starred chef, Greek olive oil is the best in the world. Some oils are more expensive and some, cheaper but for consistent quality, a beautiful 'nose' and taste, Odysea Greek olive oil comes out on top. Now that I am widowed and don't cook and prepare as much food as I used, in re-ordering, I've swapped my usual 5 ltr cans for 3 ltr. ones. There's nothing like this glorious oil for drizzling over salads, pasta, pizzas, baked items, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, and for dipping (I don't add balsamic vinegar to olive oil dips). A word of advice: do not use olive oil for making mayonnaise or dressings. Vegetable oil for these purposes is best as it's lighter. Olive oil is so healthy and guards against heart disease. The can is easy to pour. Again, a short word of advice: to pour, turn the can on its side which prevents 'slopping', and use a funnel to save every drop! I'm delighted Amazon stocks Odysea Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil and at a very reasonable price, too. The price of olive oil has risen steeply over the past year (2025 - 2026) so grab a can while you are able. My can arrived VERY safely packed and very quickly, too. Fantastic extra virgin olive oil from kalamata olives
This kalamata extra virgin olive oil is great. It's very flavourful, with a distinct peppery taste that packs a punch! One could argue that this may not be to everyone's taste --there are other extra virgin olive oils that seems softer. This one has a strong personality (like kalamata olives themselves!). I think it's one of the best extra virgin olive oils to use as salad dressing as it pairs well with other ingredients (I've used it with lemon juice, honey and salt, and also with red wine vinegar, maple syrup, lemon juice, thyme, salt and pepper for a hearty dressing). It is also excellent with a bit of balsamic vinegar to create a dip for pitta bread, naan and sourdough (once you start, you cannot stop!). It has a Taste award, which I think is well deserved and I totally here for it. I cannot recommend this enough.
