I like this ZOMFOM camera setup
The media could not be loaded. Everything in the kit allowed for a pretty straight forward install. I ran it on a power cell first to test it out. The video and images are post install on the bike. I think the front camera still has some play I have to lock down. I am recording in TS format and I had to convert to mpg so I think there's a little loss of crispness. Even with that it's clearer than the Blueskysea DV688 I bought last year. So much so I purchased another ZOMFOM to replace the DV688. At first I thought the mounting pads were flimsy but I now see the benefit as they can be bent to a curved surface. I had to reach out because the rubber cover to the SD card came off and they were very responsive and offered to replace it. I also reached out about the firmware update for MPH which they sent me right away. I have not applied the patch yet. Happy with the camera overall. The only issues were the instructions could use updating and the cover to the SD card could be attached a little stronger. Granted I do not have the lightest touch out there. I have not ridden with it in the rain yet as it's summer but I am hopeful it performs as advertised.

Junk.
Tried powering it with USB and the hardwire hookups. Regardless how it's hooked up, it would turn itself on and off at complete random. I've been 100% positive I turned the monitor off, came out the next day, monitor is on and bike won't start due to discharged battery. On the flip side of that, it turning on and off at night while riding is SERIOUSLY distracting. Being on a pitch black road then suddenly getting beamed with a bright orange screen followed by the bright blue gps screen really messes with my already poor natural night vision. The very first time I experienced fog the monitor got cloudy and never fully cleared up. Now on rainy or foggy days it just stays completely unviewable. The videos are difficult to access with the finicky app and take forever to download. Unit stopped working entirely in the middle of a 15-20k mile road trip. To sum up my experience, next time Ill buy a pricier product and avoid all of these headaches.Update** I had retracted this bad review when they replaced the unit. Replacement unit does seem more waterproof, but it won't connect to download videos and still turns itself on and off at random, again leaving me with a dead battery yesterday. Completely pointless to have if you can't even access the videos it takes. Absolutely pathetic they would replace a defective unit with another defective unit. Leaving me to believe 1, quality control is trash, and 2, it's an inferiorly made product. I absolutely will not waste the time installing another defective unit if they offer to replace again. I'll be buying a different camera. Very dis-satisfies customer.

Killed my bike twice now(tech support is working with me)
I have imcrease my rating as tech support seems to be doing their best to help solve these issues. They are very communicative so that's a big plus, once all this concludes I'll update this review with the results. The gps issue is also being addressed.Do not use parking mode, no one touched my bike while i was at work and it was completely dead by the time i tried to leave.UPDATE: IT WASN'T PARKING MODE, IT KILLED MY BIKE AGAIN AFTER TURNING THAT OFF.All videos are saved in .TS format for some ridiculous reason and they have no useable metadata like gps or g-force meters. The gps is saved into .txt files making them mostly useless . Even at the lowest setting the g-sensor trips the accident detector while riding my r3. The audio is hit or miss, some videos have audio, some dont, no idea why. The app i found sort of works but not great you can only see one camera at a time. Cant find a pc version. I fight with my phone because it autoconnects to the camera wifi even when it is disabled, makes me lose my music. When i did connect to the wifi, the camera locked up a few times so the only way to reliably get footage is to pull the memory card. For nearly $200 this is too glitchy, I would let it slide for $100.

Mine filled with water
I have had this unit for about a year. It got water in it once before and I was told by the manufacturer that since it was working it would be OK, to just leave the small rubber door open and let it dry out. This worked and I have had no problems with the unit since then. Unfortunately, I just did a four day road trip and got caught in rain for a day and a half. The pictures show the result, and what's worse is the system corrupted the sd card so now I have no footage of my trip.I like the unit itself and it has worked flawlessly up until today. It captures very good video that you can put together for good quality trip footage with a decent editing software. However, this new development is very disappointing to say the least. Trying to get ahold of the manufacturer is difficult to say the least. Now that the unit is a year old, replacement is up to me purchasing a new one. Getting the three year warranty might be worth it in the long run.Installation is easy depending on your style of bike and where you place the cameras. You will need to have some basic knowledge of wiring, although the included instructions are pretty good, and the fittings are color coded and simple to put together.Overall, I recommend these camera systems just for the safety of having video evidence if something unfortunate happens, but I wanted to give fair warning about the issue I am having.6/17/2023Update to this system.I was contacted by the manufacturer, and they sent me a replacement unit. This surprised me since the original unit was out of its warranty. This speaks volumes for their product support. As I stated before, I do recommend these just for the safety and recording of evidence in case something unfortunate happens. Had I not had a problem with mine, I would not have put a negative review on the item because it does work well. I upped my star review from 2 stars to 4 based on the fact that the manufacturer gave very good support, however the fact that the original unit did get water in it from riding in the rain, and that all of my video from a 4 day trip was lost I cannot in good conscience give them a 5 star.
