I am a great swimmer. When my wife insisted I have some sort of floatation device for snorkeling I wanted to do on vacation, I didn't love the idea but ended up buying this device because it was less obtrusive than a diving belt and very easy to pack.Cut to me snorkeling in Maui, getting a little too close to some rocks, and needing to swim aggressively away. That's when my mask filled up with water and I had a little bit of panic moment as I was far out, out of breath, and couldn't see well. I remembered the device and grabbed for it. It instantly stabilized me (a bigger guy, but easily held my weight) and let me catch my breath and adjust my mask. I probably would have been ok with out it (as I know how to float and get things under control), but it was still a great comfort to have and sure made things easier. In short, it was worth every penny and I won't snorkel without it. In the event of an injury or a bad rip current, it could literally save my life.It is also highly visible to boats and my wife could easily see me from our hotel room, rather far from where I was swimming. It is practically weightless and takes up no space when packing. And when swimming, you literally can't tell it's there until you need it. It seems well built and it didn't deflate or anything, despite putting a lot of weight on it to float.

Inflated easily and stayed inflated while we snorkeled. Nice to have for safety and visibility in the water. Recommend!

My wife and I used this while snorkeling around Puerto Rico, and I recommend this to all my friends who also enjoy snorkeling, and now I’m recommending it to you.The two pack is what lured me into considering this one, because snorkeling is more fun with other people. Don’t be fooled by the low price, these swim buoys are great products while costing much less than other swim buoys on the market.They are super quick to inflate, and stayed fully inflated the entire swim. With these buoys, we were confident and snorkeled for hours each day of our trip. While we had no problem floating without the buoys (due to the buoyant nature of our snorkeling gear), knowing that we could just grab the handle on the buoys at anytime was a huge confidence booster. We also swam across channels to uninhabited islands. Boats and jet skis would frequently cross the routes we swam, and it was great knowing that we wouldn’t get run over by any watercraft while we were exploring because our buoys were so obvious. You can hug the buoy to lift your torso out of the water or just grab it by the plastic handle or simply grab the strap like the buoy is a balloon. There was no noticeable resistance from the buoys while swimming.If you want to take your snorkeling trips to the next level while giving you an immensely secure sense of safety, get these. You’ll be able to swim much further knowing you can rely on these buoys to keep you and your snorkeling partner safe.

My husband and I just went on a snorkeling trip and bought these at the last minute thinking they might come in handy. They are so fantastic!! Super easy to inflate, clip to your waist, and they just follow you while you swim. I didn't even feel it. Came in super handy as a way to rest, and especially when my snorkel started leaking and I had to figure out what to do. At one point, we got caught in a fairly strong (unexpected) current, and although we were able to swim out of it, I felt so much better knowing I had a way to rest if needed. I am a very strong swimmer but honestly felt safer having this when we were swimming far from shore. Highly recommend!

Was confused how to attach the rope to the buoy and wish the rope was maybe a foot longer, but works very well! Enjoyed using and sharing on our lake trip.

We didn't want to have to pay the ridiculous rental fees on our recent cruise for snorkeling equipment so we bought a set of these and took our own masks and fins. We knew we needed some sort of PFD for safety but were tight on packing space. Taking kayaking PFDs would have been too bulky. These inflatable swim buoys ended being just the ticket. They are affordable, take up very little room when deflated, and seem to be well made. When we would get tired of swimming we would just grab the buoy and float for a while. I would definitely recommend these for snorkeling.

Use these while snorkeling and they were Easy to inflate and to travel with.

We purchased these for a trip to Maui and they were absolutely perfect for snorkeling. They were easy to pack and inflated and deflated in about a minute. They not only provide a bit of security as a flotation device, but also allowed us to easily spot each other in the water. The long cord allows for a bit of a dive down under the water too, so it doesn't limit you like a life jack would. We were asked multiple times by others snorkeling where we got them, so they are a great choice to order ahead of your trip!

Bought these for my son to use when snorkelling so we could easily spot him - they work amazing! Quick to blow up and easy to use. They seem durable as we are now home from our trip and none popped or burst.

Got these for my friend and I for wild swimming in the lake. We go with a group who have mostly orange floats. These yellow ones are really bright and stand out. Easy to inflate (about 4 or 5 big breaths) and deflate and the waist belt adjusts easily. No problems attaching the float to the strap and waist belt at all. Great value. Used them a few times now and have recommended them to folks who don’t have one.
