Glue didn't stick

I tried this paper under the CraftSmart label. There are such pretty shades of colors in each pack! But, the card I made arrived in pieces. Tombow Aqua glue did not hold. Adhesive sponge dots did. So, if you try this paper, skip the paper glues and go for a tape runner or Xyron adhesive. It's not a good value at $25 per pack, but it might be worth the $3-4 sale price at the craft stores if I can find a glue that stays on. As of today, it looks like Michael's is clearing out their stock of it. I wonder why?
