It is very easy to mess up
The whole "toothpick" assembly is horrible, they wont stop moving around, falling and moving inside the mechanism as the box trembles during the use of the box. Thrown away to the rubbish just after 1st use due to all pieces falling down. HORRIBLE BUY DO NOT GET THIS. IT is wasting hours for something that ends up on the bin

Satisfied !
I bought this as a Christmas gift for a loved one and she loved it ! It was fun to build without being too challenging and the instructions were really clear and easy to follow. It is quite big so you can actually put stuff inside for safe keeping

For those who like a challenge its a beautiful project
The idea of a wooden safe that is fully functional and can be built with your own hands is absolutely brilliant. I built it with my 11 y/o who always enjoyed lego and building. This is of course next level building. It wasn't easy, I confess we needed to disassemble it once after first assembly we found the lock wasn't operational, but we persevered, looked at all the instructions again and figured it out. For us it was about the task at hand and achievement, oh as a screen time detox benefits
