H4 Philips 12953BWX2 LED Bulbs

Very happy with these bulbs. Got them for my 1999 Subaru Forester which I drive in The Netherlands, Europe. For some peculiar reason these bulbs have not been approved for road use in Europe. Consequently, you can't purchase them here via regular retail channels either. The light that these bulbs emit is much brighter than with stock halogen, light pattern looks good to me. As the car will undergo its mandatory annual certification inspection next week, I'll find out then whether the light pattern is in fact compliant with the various official requirements. Installation is no more difficult than changing normal H4 bulbs, you just have to find a good spot to 'install' the control boxes for each bulb. Note that these bulbs are longer than standard bulbs (because of the passive cooling element), so you need at least some 2-3 inches of extra space behind you light units in order for these bulbs to fit. These bulbs are far from cheap. However, if they pass the certification inspection next week, they are worth every dollar to me.EDIT January 16th: They passed the certification inspection without any problems. Fully recommended therefore!EDIT December 4th: Also got a set of these fantastic bulbs for my Miata. What a difference they make (again) when compared with the original bulbs. Pricewise this purchase was a better deal than the previous one, as they have dropped considerably in price. Shipping was lightning fast: I opted for the standard shipment method, delivery was more than a week ahead of schedule!

Very bright lights. Much better than the stock Halogens on my 2016 Tundra. The price is a but much for what they are.

You can se clearly and far.I installed in a Suzuki Swift 2017.Easy to install, Phillips published a video explaining how to do it.Advice, this seller does no warn you about there is no extra cost if they send to USA. I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra. I love the truck but hated the headlight output. My previous car had HID headlights which were amazing. The halogen bulbs in the Tundra were hard to tell if they were even on. On our first long road trip out of the city my wife told me to turn on the headlights - they were already on. I researched LEDs and you will find there are a lot out there. I wanted one that didn't have a fan for cooling and had a decent cutoff so I wouldn't blind people. I bought the Phillips because they met my wants and also they are a solid company. I've had them for a few months now and think the truck should have come with these as standard equipment. The only way I could top them is if I went with a retrofit with HID projectors which cost a lot. I highly recommend these.

Installation was a snap on my 2008 Honda Element EX. It took about 30 minutes. Lights are bright and even. No one has flashed me or indicated they are too bright. Thanks to Philips for providing a product that is precisely engineered.July 11th, 2020 update: Still pleased

***UPDATED*** 10-14-2019The lights (when working) are awesome, the issue is with the warranty, more so, the lack of any!! So Philips has a 3 year warranty, however, it does NOT apply in the USA. Since these are not regulated here in the States, neither Philips nor the seller back the OEM 3 year. Candidly, this should be CLEARLY spelled / called out by the seller. Equally, what the heck does it matter where in the world the bulbs are installed??? Regardless of the State or Fed regulations, you either warrant your product or you don't... and they don't. They circumvent this by distributing them through a 3rd party. If you don't have issues, the lights are awesome. If you do, you're out of luck and $200...So if you own a Toyota, more specifically a 2014 Tundra Limited, let me SAVE you A LOT of time and frustration re LED headlights and other LED replacement bulbs. The short version, pony up the $$ now and have your headlights working correctly the first time. I went through 8 sets of bulbs (3 headlight, balance DRL, backing, etc.). I tried to do it on the cheap paying $16 - $50 per set - ALL ending up failing at some level. Hyper flash error, DRL error on screen, shorting / blowing fuses, defective, yada yada yada - you get the point. I read the reviews for the Philips which offered some comfort... finally after hours of install, remove, return, replace (cheap again, though great reviews) and screaming I spent the $$ for these. AMEN!! Are they perfect, not quite. Are they awesome and do they works as well as the OEM, yep! Long term TBD - hope they last at least 3 years to justify the investment. In summation I have two recommendations: 1) buy a quality set like these - the size and weight (not that weight equates to quality, but it did in this instance) was literally 3 times that of the $50 sets. 2) don't short cut the install process, meaning REMOVE the grill, side trim, and headlight unit vs. trying to access via / under the wheel well. Correctly is only 10 screws (10MM socket) and 6 plastic retaining plugs and about 10 minutes!

These lights significantly improved lighting without blinding other drivers. No one has flashed me because I have blinded them.

These are definitely brighter than the original headlight bulbs. A bit of a pain in the butt to install (no fault of the bulb, just Toyota's design). Hoping that they last quite a while for the price of them.

現行型ムーブに乗っており、先日、同社の高効率ハロゲンバルブに交換して、それはそれで満足していたのですが、LEDバルブに交換したい病が発症し、こちらのバルブであれば、バルブ後部の放熱器がコンパクトで、本体とは分離しての取り付けができるとのことで、取り付けもトラブルがないのではと思い、ダメもとで買ってみました。と言うのも、他社製品のLEDバルブ適合表を見てみると、現行型ムーブでは、運転席側のヘッドライトの後部スペースが狭いために、ウォッシャー液補給口を外すか、ヘッドライトを外さないと、取り付けができないとの注意書きがあったので、諦めていました。しかし、放熱器を分離できるこの製品ならと思い、チャレンジした次第です。結果は、落ち着いて作業をすれば、特に問題なく取り付けができました。実際に夜、点灯してみたのですが、すごく明るいです。現行型ノアの標準LEDライトと比較しても、若干、こちらの方が明るいのではと思うくらいです。しばらく走ってみても、薄暗さからくる疲労は軽減される感じです。ヘッドライトのレンズもハロゲン使用時のように熱くはなりません。インジケーターも正常にハイビーム時に点灯します。但し、放熱器はそれなりに高温になっているので、使用時や使用直後は注意が必要かと思います。光軸調整はしていないのですが、対向車が想定される位置に立ってライトを見てみても眩しくはないし、他車からもパッシングをされないので、大丈夫かなと思っています。見た感じですが、ハロゲンランプ使用時と同等のラインが出ているのは確認できました。残るは、寿命ですね。こればかりは何とも言えませんが、しばらく様子を見てみます。追伸本日、三年目の車検をうけましたが、光軸、光量共に問題なく通りました。値段はそこそこしますが、買ってよかったと思っています

使用している車種は日産クリッパー(U71V)です。三菱ミニキャブのOEM車です。この車種はライトユニット裏のスペースが非常に狭い為、奥行きのあるバルブは取付け出来ません。バルブ台座後方が40mm以下でないと取付できません。こちらの商品は後方長が43mmです。そのままではかなり厳しいのでライトユニット後方をプラスチックハンマーで叩いて凹ませてスペースを確保しました。また、スペースが無いので安定器も場所に悩みます。しかしスペースの問題さえ解決できれば取付は簡単です。恐らく、他の車種では何の問題も無く取付出来ると思います。明るさはHIDバルブより少し暗くハロゲンより明るいといった状態です。配光もさすがフィリップスです。しっかりしています。Low・Hi共にしっかり照らしてくれます。色合いは真っ白です。もう少し黄色っぽくても良いのでは？と思う程です。消費電力も下がり夜間の燃費も少し向上しました。(この車種は非常に非力なのでオルタネータが働いている時は走りが重くなります)非常にお勧めのランプです。価格は中華製の物の数倍しますが夜間走行の安心を買ったと思えば安いものです。オススメします！！

迅速な対応大変有難うございました。

中華製LEDバルブ(ASIN「B01J5GN1QE」)から乗り換えました。まず中華製のバルブは明るさは申し分ありませんでしたがカットラインが出ず、レベライザで下に向けて使用していたためカットラインの出る製品を探していました。明るさで言うとこの製品よりも中華製バルブのほうが遥かに上です...ただし中華製バルブのほうはカットラインが出ない製品でしたので、照射範囲が適正ではない状態で明るいということになります。対してこの製品はカットラインが見事に出ます。レンズカットがそのまま投影されるような感じです。また中華製バルブは点灯するとFMラジオにノイズが入りましたが、さすがにこの製品ではラジオにノイズが乗ることはありませんでした。ただしドライバユニットがソコソコの重さと大きさがあり、ライト周りのスペースがないと取り付けできません(バルブの交換よりもドライバユニットの取付け位置と取付け方法に悩みました)。正直、明るさも「うぉー、マジ明るい...」とはならず、微妙と言えば微妙です...が、適正な照らし方だからこそ、そこまでの明るさを感じさせないのかもしれません。この製品を選択するなら明るさよりも適正なカットラインや適正な照射範囲、また点灯時のラジオへのノイズ混入を防ぐという２つの目的ですかね...。明るさを一番の目的にすると(T.T)となるんじゃないでしょーか。ドライバユニットの大きさやその他トータルで考えた時に、パフォーマンスに対してコストが高すぎる感じがして満足度はチョッと低いですね。----- 追記です -----この製品で車検通りました(レンズは純正)。光量、カットライン、共に優等生とのコトでした(笑)。ちなみに前出の中華製LEDは光量は問題ないものの、カットラインが出ていないとのコトでNGになりました。この製品で車検は通りましたがコスパという点では変わらず☆４つです。----- 2021.07.01 追記 -----購入取付から丸４年...故障なしの現役で使用できてます。コスパが悪いと書きましたが良いかもしれませんね(笑)クルマを廃車にするまでもってくれればコスパは最高でしょう！！----- 2023.05.01 追記 -----取付けから約6年、故障なしの現役です。自分が慣れてしまったのか、最近ちょっと暗くなったよーな気がするけど、車検も通るし、今さらまた新しいのに替えるのも面倒なのでそのまま使用してます。
