just what i wanted and they fit

I was nervous about buying these, as I saw a lot of mixed reviews. So far they have held up great. I've had them a few months and have worn them at least a dozen times. The longer gauntlet is perfect. My old gloves were short and bees could easily get in. They do run small. I purchased a large and they fit well. I have very slim, larger than average hands for a woman. I would normally wear a man's medium or woman's large.

Ordered Ex Large, and just right for my 'Medium' hands. Great protection from the girls who wish to nail you on your wrist.

I used the gloves to remove a nest from an attic. They fit well, my hand is usually a large, sometimes an XL. They are comfortable on the hand and still have pretty good dexterity with fingers to work. The cuff comes up to about elbow so very good overlap is achieved with bee suit on. Very happy with purchase, definitely recommend

Working with bees

I had a very aggressivd hive and had been stung through my prior pair of gloves.I wanted gloves that were thick enough to protect my hands while I was addressing the issues in the hive. These gloves are absolutely perfect. While the bees tried to sting me (over 50 stingers in the leather), not one of them go through to my hands. These are great!

Tend to be very stiff after washing.

Love using these to work my beehives. The fabric is a thick yet breathable canvas type material with goatskin leather on the fingers and palms. They have kept my hands and fingers from stings and show no sign of any excess wear or failure in any seams. I like the fact that I'm able to pick up things and not fumble with stiff leather or material. I've washed these and have gotten the leather wet as well and still it remains soft and supple
