Great on looks and keeping drinks hot/cold. Easy to clean. not completely spill proof
I've been using this travel coffee tumbler for about 2+ months now. I get complimented on the color and style, often. It does really well when it comes to keeping my cold brews cold over the course of the day. As well, it keeps my hot coffee hot over an extended period of time too. I love the silicon band across the middle of the tumbler as it makes it great for gripping and holding on to it. There's also an anti skid pad at the bottom so it stays stable on desktops, etc. My only criticism is that there is a small venting hole in the lid (so that liquid can get out easier, when you drink through the mouthpiece--- yay physics!) Well this tiny hole makes it difficult for me to mix in my cream/sweetener by shaking the tumbler. So you don't have a flawless seal on the tumbler. The soft rubber/silicon stopper for the mouthpiece is good at preventing spillage and splashes. However, the cap stay in place in the tumbler due to a soft rubber/silicon ring (grommet) that creates a seal. This seal works well but it is not kept in place via a screw or locking lid mechanism. I did just drop my tumbler (on accident) from countertop height about an hour ago, and the lid popped off and I spilled the remainder of my coffee. This was on hard floor, but I imagine it wouldn't happen on soft flooring or if fallen from a lesser height. The good news is that the tumbler didn't dent and the lid did not break. Which bring me to my last note. The lid is ceramic, where the tumbler is double-walled insulate steel (metal). It makes for a classy look with the two different materials coming together. Yet, I imagine if the cup were ever to fall on concrete, then the lid would break.

A great tumbler!
I bought a gray variant of the artisan tumbler before I bought the Teak wood one. The teak wood tumbler lid is noticeably heavier. Also, the print on the mug is a mat finish, not glossy like the picture showed when I ordered it.Still, I obviously love these tumblers if I had one for a year and bought another one. The Teak Wood color is very beautiful and ties into the black accent of the grip and lid perfectly. It does an excellent job of keeping my coffee (too?) hot for hours while i sip it at work and home. I like that it has a little built in rubber mat on the bottom of the tumbler so grips to the counter, or cup holder in the car.The reason I have two of these is because I got tired of drinking my coffee in containers that imparted flavors; I "Tasted" something on the other lids, I do not taste anything from these tumblers. Maintenance cleaning is also easy to do, since there are no plastic parts for liquid to get into. The only thing I dislike, if I had to find something, it's that the rubber seal around the lid isn't user-replaceable; it never has been. When that wears out, you have to buy a whole new lid (which you can for $11 bucks). Since the lid is ceramic, it's probably more likely to be dropped and broken before that, but still... User-replaceable items are preferred over having to buy a whole new piece.Otherwise, I'm greatly pleased with this tumbler and will continue to use it for the rest of my life - or until they make another wood-print variant and then I'll have to buy it too, LOL.

GREAT Coffee Container...
I was so impressed by this design that I bought another one!Short and sweet... these insulated drink tumblers are a dime-a-dozen with very few rising outside of the pack. So the attention is in small details. The best part of these Elemental Artisan Tumblers is the CERAMIC LID.It really is a game-changer!You end up feeling (literally) like you're drinking from a classic ceramic mug - but get the benefits of your drink staying hot/cold longer from the insulated reservoir. Its a great design detail that makes a surprising difference.Since its a ceramic lid with a rubberized ring to hold it in place - it is not the best at being spill-proof. If these tumblers tipped over the top would probably 50/50 come off. And if falling of the table or counter - would definitely come off and spill. So it would be awesome if Elemental Artisan upgraded the ceramic lid to screw on (like Brumate tumblers - with a short 'twist on/off' thread on the ceramic lid and inside the tumbler)I'd buy that for a dollar!!!!Good job with this product! I Like it!!!! Plan on gifting some fam and friends!

Best non-plastic tumbler
Replaced my Yeti with a plastic lid with this, and this is perfect! No plastic parts anywhere, and love drinking out of the ceramic lid. Keeps coffee hot for hours, honestly. Easy to clean, doesn't leave an off taste, perfect size, and seems pretty durable (but lid can probably chip if I'm not careful)

Great cup for your morning joe!
Nice vessel for my coffee every morning. The ceramic lid is great to drink from and the wooden effect is nice and modern. Great item.

Nice but doesn't hold heat as expected
I bought this to replace an Ember mug (heated mug) that didn't stay connected to my phone and so didn't keep my tea hot. I wanted something that looked nice for breakfast table but also that wouldn't spill if I took it in car or near my computer. Overall it accomplishes those things. It is not "spill proof" in that you can't throw it in your bag, but it is good enough if you tip it over at your desk or drink while driving. Very comfortable to hold. It would say it only holds heat for about 2-3 hours...in that your tea will most definitely not be hot after about 2-3 hours. It would still be warm, but not hot tea temperature. I have a basic thermos vacuum insulated mug...not as attractive but holds heat way longer. If 2-3 hours is long enough to keep your stuff hot, I'd recommend this. As far as the ceramic lid...I've "almost" dribbled on my shirt a few times but it isn't too bad. I know some folks don't like plastic so it is ok, but I wouldn't mind a more traditional drinking lid, even if it was plastic. The matte black is stylish and comfortable to hold, doesn't look too bad in online meetings.
