AWESOME!
Haven't found a better or quicker way to deprime cases before cleaning than this guy. I can do ten 223 cases per minute with a steady pace just watching TV. Only tip is to keep it pointed down or the spent primers will fall out of the tube. Crimped 556 cases take some effort, but still quicker than the press. Wish I bought one of these years ago.

Well sunuva.....
Holy. S4!T!!!!!! Why, or Dearest Lord, did I NOT get this any sooner!?!? Then again, after three years of reloading, did I really start paying attention to bumping my shoulders, and, well....ya just can't do that without depriming the brass first in order to get a proper shoulder measurement. Wouldn't ya know? Them shoulder bumps tightened up my groups and repeated velocities within high-single to low-teen SDs and ESs. If you're on the fence about getting this - dooooo eeeeeet. Do eet now! It's easy to use, easy to change out the brass holders, and easy to dump out. Although, I can see myself dropping the damn thing and breaking the dead primer catcher. Overall, a wonderful product that will save you headaches in the long run. Plus, you can mindlessly watch tv whilst depriming and the wife won't get mad atcha for spending hours in the reloading room because you can't find the damned proper bump.

This thing is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! if you have a small space or are traveling.
If you are like me and you are moving constantly, this thing is a god send. - I just deprimed 150 peaces of 45acp no problem, only took about 15-20 minutes. Next is .308 - It is nice at the range when you take a break and pick your brass and are able to take a minute and deprime it before throwing it in the can for later. - If you are just sitting in front of the tv or are looking for something to do to kill time this is awesome. Instead of having to set up and tear down a press, you just have this so it is nice for small spaces and travel. - I have a full set up with a press and all the other nonsense. When all that stuff is packed away because i am moving or in the middle of moving. This is a nice addition to a small mobile reloading kit that i can keep in a small box and break out when needed. Pro's: - Small and compact - Great for mobile reloading or small spaces - No real set up or tear down other than changing out the collet for different sized brass. - Built like a tank. - Great if you are new to reloading and just want a small set up instead of a full bench with a mounted press. - If you are looking at increasing your Grip strength and want it to be productive this is worth it for a forearm work out. Con's: - If you have a weak grip this may not be for you. - For what this is and the intended use of it. I dont really see any. If you are looking at a large setup and are using a progressive press I can see this not being worth your while.

Decent Tool; Warehouse Returns Not So Much
A couple of points right off the bat: * The title may be incorrect for the product displayed - it's not a scale * Caution is deserved if ordering an Amazon warehouse return item. Mine only came with 2 of the 3 collets. I frequently find myself picking up trash from squatting, camping and shooting sites. A buddy who reloads mentioned that I could earn back some of my gas money by providing him with whatever "brass" I find out there. Since he prefers clean ready to use cases I picked one of these up as a warehouse return. (First small mistake, as noted above.) This is a solid, hefty unit, easy to use wherever. I don't know about other dynamics of reloading, but I cleaned up and removed the primers from a good number of mixed cases I picked up. Had to ask and learn a little about the differences in the sizes I was working with. Here are some observations about the tool and the process. * Would work best with clean - like indoor range - cases. * The bases of the smallest cases got stuck in the tool - they were narrow, short 5.7 * Some of the 5.56 cases got hung up on the pin and had to be pulled off with pliers. * Spent primers occasionally tumble out of the catch tube as the instructions note - probably not something you want on the couch. * Straight cases like bigger pistol calibers can hang up on the plastic ears of the collet. * Again, may be a consequence of the return item I bought but mine does not "auto eject(s) the case for a faster and easier operation" at all. Overall it's a decent way to spend a little time and recycle what would otherwise be trash.

Heck of a robust tool. and solid metal.
Normally, I decap cases on the press with a dedicated decapping die which necessitates a lot of extra movement and die changes. This tool works as described and even removes heavy crimped in primers in NATO cases. It's all metal as well except for the collets which are plastic but I don't see any issue with that either as all they do is align the case with the decapping pin so they don't have to be extremely tight. So long as the case slides in, all is good. It does take some force to remove heavy crimped in primers but the tool is up to the job, so long as your hand is as well. Requires a hard squeeze so your hand gets needed exercise at the same time and it's ambidextrous as well so right hand or left hand don't matter. As others have stated, the collets won't stay attached to the tool, they fall off which is no big deal for me as they will be kept in the box with my dedicated decapping die and unlike others, I have no issue with the primer catcher coming off, you just need to seat it fully in the tool and it goes nowhere. All in all, this is a good, well thought out tool that makes decapping much easier and quicker than press depriming. Can sit in my recliner and decap cases. Heck of a plan. Don't think for a second that reloading is just for the younger set. I'm 74 and I've been building all my handloads for rifles and handguns for about 35 years now and I've amassed quite a bit of reloading tools and accessories and this tool is a welcome edition. It also provides my 75 year old somewhat arthritic hands, needed squeezing exercise so it accomplishes 2 required tasks, it deprimes spent cases for reloading and it exercises my stiff fingers....lol

Great quality, easy to use and very sturdy. I would highly recommend if you reload
This is a great product for reloading. It's simple to use, works fast and not only looks sturdy but feels it also. I've used it now for two years. Either pop out the spent primers into the garage or use the sturdy plastic tube to catch them. You literally can use it in the livingroom watching TV. It's a quiet and clean way to deprime your brass before cleaning or after to size the brass. Great to have next to the reloading counter incase you need to quickly get a primer out that's not seated well without having to put it through the resizing die again

Simple, easy, and effective
Super simple to set up and works well. Getting the shells placed can be a little tricky at first, but once you get everything centered the primers pop right out
