Believable eyewitness testimony
Seeing a creature that is not supposed to exist can be an extremely traumatic experience for people who firmly believe they are sane and well rooted in reality. Many people will question their own sanity and bottle this feeling up inside and never tell anyone else for fear of ridicule. Steve Isdahl is doing a wonderful public service by providing a forum where people can unload their trauma without fear of ridicule. Back in the 1960s, a bookstore owner in Porland Oregon, Ray Crow, saw tracks in the Mt. Hood National Forest and put a sign in his window inviting the public to tell him their bigfoot obsrvations. He started a newsletter called The Track Record and ended up publishing nearly every wild story he heard. He discovered that the trail to Bigfoot leads far out into the realm of the paranormal. Steve Isdahl is doing the same thing in a new medium in a new century and he is getting the same pattern of results.Other reviewers complain about the lack of editing in this book. While I found the many errors distracting at first, I now see it as indicative that these are genuine people reporting real experiences as best they can. These are obviously not professional writers making up wild stories for the fun of it. For all the faults in grammar, punctuation, and spelling, this book reeks of veracity. There may be a prankster or two in this collection but by far the majority of the writers seem to be struggling to convey a profound experience. I give this book five stars based on the content alone. There is a lot of valuable information here that cannot be found anywhere else. I am glad to include this volume on my Bigfoot bookshelf and I look forward to buying anything else he publishes.

Eleven pages from the author, the rest an anthology of e-mails sent to him.
Most people who purchase this book will probably do so based on the author's Youtube channel. That's what I did. It's a great channel. If you are somehow here without ever seeing the videos, go to Youtube and search for the channel "howtohunt.com" The author's sincerity and shear competence will win you over. This book recounts the author's brief experiences with Sasquatch. He has related his story already on his YouTube channel but it's nice to see in print. Acutely disappointing though is a reference that more of his experiences will be revealed in his next book. What!? That is exactly what I was hoping to see in this book - more from the author.Only eleven pages of this book are actually written by the author. The rest of the book is an anthology of Sasquatch experiences sent to him via e-mail. This should have been made clear on the cover. Many of the e-mails have been read on his Youtube channel. There are plenty of new stories though. Good to see these experience getting put into a book. As the author noted in a recent video, a published book is much more permanent than videos on the internet. Most of the encounters seem sincere, others not as much. There does not appear to be any vetting process. The author has addressed this on this channel "Who would spend time making this stuff up?" The answer : plenty of people would - just for kicks. Also, there are plenty of people that just are not all there. Hopefully most of theses e-mails are the gold, but I have a feeling a fair amount of dross is in here. The author does not comment on them.Sadly, as noted in another review, this book is very poorly written. Grammar errors abound, basic stuff too. This is somewhat excusable in the submitted e-mails - something to be said for including them unedited. But the parts from the author. Oh my. Just be prepared for that. There is a table of contents that nicely catalogs the encounters, except that it has inaccurate page numbers. This book really, really needed proofreading before being published. A spell checker does not cut it. While you can read around the errors, they definitely detract and give the book an amateurish feel.____I've never had an encounter with Sasquatch, but I find it a fascinating subject. There are lots of "characters" out there that really make you question the whole thing. Then along comes this YouTube channel with an incredibly straightforward, no nonsense, sincere, plain talking guy. No scary music, nothing like that. This book has its shortcomings and disappointments, but I'm pleased with my purchase. The world needs more people like the author.

Admirable Collection of Experiences.
If you follow Steve on YouTube, some of these stories are repeats but are necessary to paint the picture of where Steve is coming from in his journey to reconcile himself to his unasked for and unwanted encounters. I just got this book two days ago and I’m not done yet but I can already tell you that this is a Sasquatch book for the rest of us. In it Steve tells the stories of people like him who have also had unwanted and life changing experiences. This book is cathartic for Steve and the others who have sent their stories in. (I have not had my own experience and honestly don’t want to). You can feel the fear in several of these stories and it brings it to life.If you have even a passing interest in this topic, you will enjoy it. This isn’t a “proof” book though. Steve isn’t out to convince you if you are a skeptic. This is a book of shared experiences in the very words of the people who experienced it.It is not a “research report” or some sort of scientific study. As such, you will encounter some grammatical errors and other mistakes. It won’t detract from the message though so ignore the negative review that harps on that. It was written by a “Bigfoot researcher” who obviously has a preconceived bias. Also one thing to note. That person’s review was on 13 June 2020. The book was released on Amazon on 12 June 2020. Even if the reviewer got it overnighted, they wouldn’t have had the time to sit down and read it carefully all the way through. Notice as well, it isn’t listed as a “verified purchase”. With Amazon being the only place carrying the book, I wonder where he got it??? Consider that as you evaluate their review.

They really are out there!
Thoroughly enjoyed this book (I bought the kindle edition). Yes the punctuation was a little challenging in places but this was because Steve has copied exactly the information as sent to him, and quite frankly, going back to clarify meaning only served to push the story more indelibly into my brain - so look on the positive side instead of complaining about it🤗.The book is a very informative read for those who have an interest in these beings, and if you don't have an interest, you will by the time you have read the book. I look forward to Steve's next book.

Youtube has all these stories
I was a bit disappointed. I thought it was going to be more about him. He shares everyone's experiences. You could just watch his youtube channel to hear all of these stories.
