I am always putting my phone down as I clean the house or go outside to tend to the chickens. I think i have said " where's my phone " a hundred times! But with this gadget, I can hang it over my shoulder and always have my phone with me. I love it. It hangs around my shoulder all day. Very secure and it works great at Disney too!!! The clasp is thick metal and very strong and i like that it has a little clip on the side so i can take it off that way instead of taking it off over my head each time. I love it!

I wish I knew about this product before.to be honest I used to watch all my streaming off my computer and wanted to carry my external speaker around the house with me but then it stopped working and I couldn't get a speaker that we connect to my computer.so I ended up using my phone and I ended up dropping it numerous times.It still works but the screen is completely shattered and the buttons don't work very well.I wish I knew about this sort of thing before then it is so amazing and works so well it's just blows my mind there's a lot of different things that are like this product and it's just amazing.to be honest my phone that is completely shattered it's not really a phone it's a streaming device I do have a family phone, a work phone, a game phone, and my streaming phone and I ended up buying one of these types of things for all of them and they're great.

Since I have an Android phone, it's not so easy to find a case/lanyard. I had a clear pouch-type case for my previous phone but hated it hanging around my neck because it would be uncomfortable and turn around on its swivel attachment so the phone would always be facing the wrong way when I picked it up.I wanted a lanyard that attached at 2 points on the case so it wouldn't swivel around and had a small pocket to carry a credit card and/or keys but couldn't find one that had the right kind of adjustable strap AND the right kind of case AND pocket AND didn't obstruct the camera or fingerprint activator. Since I had recently bought my phone and a new case for it, I would have preferred to not have to buy yet another new case.I bought this lanyard because it didn't require a new case AND the strap was adjustable for neck and crossbody use. I wasn't really happy that it had only a single point of attachment because I thought that it would end up swiveling around like my old pouch one did. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does NOT swivel around.In the box, you get the adjustable lanyard with clasp AND a nylon grip patch insert with loop. The insert was easy to install. I just took my phone out of its case, put the insert in and made sure that the loop was protruding out of the recharger hole in the phone case.The loop that sticks out of the recharger hole in my own phone case is a wee bit thick so I have to really push the charger in to make sure that the phone is actually charging.I also don't need my lanyard attached all the time. The loop was also a wee bit wide so it made attaching and removing the the clasp difficult. PRO:• I never* lose track of my iPhone anymore.• It's always* right there to see who's calling or texting, and I can answer it if I want to.• I can look stuff up whenever I want. 😎• This lanyard's hardware is quite durable. Only after six months did I stress it enough to break it, and it failed right where the engineers wanted it to--in a non-critical place. As you can see, only the replaceable parts failed when it got caught in the arm of a chair when I stood up, and not the clasp or the lanyard. (Why is "fail" in the Pro section? Because if it didn't fail, it would have torn my case. Or the chair. Or me. ) The clasp looks a couple of millimeters off, but it is basically unscathed. And it comes with an extra insert thingy.CON:• Not ergonomically designed. Could be easier to clasp and unclasp. Might be frustrating for some. Not too hard, though (and I even avoid having to manipulate shirt buttons and shoe laces).• Charging the phone with this on is not without challenge. Easy, but it needs a determined push, and then a gentle leave-it-be so that the plug doesn't work itself out of its receptacle. I usually prefer to remove the phone from the case altogether, but some cases are harder to remove.• My phone dangles and knocks against the counter, but the lanyard is long enough that I can put the phone into a pants pocket.• Then, of course, there's the dorkiness factor--but that bothers my wife, not me.*Think about it.

I thought I'd like this more than I did. Liked: keeps phone handy when I exercise walk; doesn't stuff my pockets with one more thing! Don't like: the cord has to squeeze between the phone and my phone case; there is no other exit point! That makes a part of the case pull back from the phone. Although there is no risk of losing my phone, it's just a bit awkward. Also, didn't realize how much the phone bounces around and thumps my chest when I walk/run! Otherwise it does what it says it'll do!

I love these phone leashes. They can fall out of pockets but I can put it on and always have it in reach. As an older person I prefer the security. I originally got it for a cruise and kept it on. No searching for the phone. They do wear out in about a year.
