Poor quality
These are in fact the correct size brushes I purchased to replace the worn brushes on my Dewalt dw173 miter saw. They came well packaged and arrived on time. However the *critical* graphite component of the brush is sub-par quality. After installing them an awful burning electrical fire smell was coming from the saw. I ran the saw through a few cuts thinking the brushes were just wearing in. After about the 10th cut I removed them to inspect. The corners and edges had broken apart on each brush.Amazon refunded and sent replacements. Gave it a second shot and same thing happened. Ended up putting the old brushes back in and thereโs no burning smell coming from the saw. Leads me to believe this is a poorly manufactured brush. Look elsewhere for replacements. !*Avoid purchasing these!*Note: Iโm a carpenter with over 15 years experience and never encountered this issue before when replacing brushes in my tools.
