Acrylic Paint Set for Artists Students or Beginners. 6-75ml Tubes in Primary & Neutral Colors

I bought this as a gift for my grand doughtier; that wants me to teacher her how to paint. I like this package, it has the basic colors for making other colors. The tubes are good size. I didn't want to get her a package, that has a bunch of little tubes with colors you don't need. Mixing colors is a major part of learning how to paint. I have always been a oil painter. I have just changed to acrylics for it's faster drying times and easier clean up. I live in the desert, so I have been going thought my own learning curve. I may start mixing the two. When my parents passed away, many of their paints they uses were Dron paints. We are creatures of habit and some times we order paints just because we did in the past. Painting is not a cheap hobby. I am retired, so I'm always looking for a good cheaper paint. I like that they sent me a email asking if I like the paint and if I had any questions. I am going to start looking at Dron a little harder.

I got this set as a thank you gift for a friend. I haven't given it to her yet, but I can't wait to. It has the primary colors as well as black, white, and brown. I recently pulled out my paints to work on a craft project and more than half of them were dried out so it was time for some new! I first checked the craft store but wasn’t really finding what I wanted size and color wise. This set is really perfect for what I wanted. The tubes of paint are a very generous size 75ml and the lids snap closed securely so I don’t think I will have an issue with them drying out as quickly as my others did. It is a nice thick paint that goes on very easily and has great coverage. I am not a painter but I use paints for general crafting. These paints I used to paint leaves and they provided a nice thick coverage. They also mix well together. I used the white go get other shades of the blues, yellows, and reds and the brown. I have also painted on cardstock paper with these and that works great too. I don’t notice an overwhelming scent to the paint either which is nice. Overall these are just what I wanted, the package says great for beginners and I would agree, I am not an artist and don’t do a lot of painting but these have been great for me, I am really happy with them!I ordered this set of paints at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a lovely set of acrylic paints. I rarely see brown thrown in to a basic set of colors. Usually the primary colors and tints are all you receive. So it is nice to have that option here. The tubes are very generous in size. Th paints themselves are a great quality. I have been painting for over 20 years, and used many sets of acrylics and this is a great set. The colors are rich and vibrant. The paint is thick, not too much liquid and they blend well. They dry at an appropriate rate to really get some good texture in the work, very easily. Great starter paint set. I am an amateur but I do a lot of web paintings with my friends from afar and this is a great set to have on hand for the essential paint colors. I always use acrylic so it dries quickly to move on to the next color on the painting. This paint blends well and glides easily on the canvas. The color stays true once painted and doesn't bleed easily into other colors and covers well also. Nice set. I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

These colors are absolutely beautiful. They go on so well and are great with anything needed. My entire family loves to use these. We have gone through a few canvases with these paints and made some wonderful art. From simple lines and streaks to beautiful intricate photos. Let our imaginations sore had been great. I can not wait to see what else we can come up with using these colors and showing my children how easy it is to mix and make sufferer colors.
