Very bright and long lasting
These are being used as my overnight lights, to light up the flag and the street where it’s dark the most and to gauge how well the quality is. They shine bright and were easy to install. Next on my list is to add the timer to these lights as they currently operate from a light switch.

Good product with good performance
They are a little smaller than I expected. The price for performance is great. The heads move around so you can point where you like and the construction seems solid. I haven't used the halogen bulbs as I immediately replaced them with LED 10W J87 bulbs. They light up my backyard just fine but they could use a little more brightness so I always have the option to go back to halogen or get more powerful LEDs down the road. Will buy more.

Nice Looking Lights
I rated them 5-star, but this rating is only applicable if you are using them in an area where they are not completely exposed to the weather (under a soffit it is fine). They don't seal real well so I would not place them where they can get rained on or hit by water from a sprinkler system continuously.

A few limitations...
Needed to replace the deck light in the back. They're not very large and I immediately replaced the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs that seem to work out very well. Install was easy. Positioning the lanterns was less than optimal. You can change the orientation of the lamp to be vertical which will allow you more side to side movement but very limited up/down movement. Orienting the lamp horizontally will only give you a little up/down movement but very limited side to side movement. The lamps are threaded into the base so if you rotate it enough counterclockwise, you will eventually pop the lamp off so if you're having trouble tightening the lamp in position, make sure it's threaded in as much as you can. Coverage appears to be adequate and the LED bulbs are brighter than my previous incandescents and will be more efficient. Also instant on is nice with no warm up time. Back when I used more halogen bulbs, I found I went through them frequently.Overall, just losing 1 star as it's got limited movement depending on the orientation of the lamp but still a great buy.
