Nujabes, who passed away in a car accident in Feb 2010, mainly released vinyl singles. This 'Metaphorical Music' was his first album in which he put much effort to complete. Up until now, it has been a beloved masterpiece and also a core of Nujabes and Hydeout Productions.It includes 'Letter From Yokosuka' the first produced song by Uyama Hiroto, who had been working with Nujabes and his best friend. 'F.I.L.O' was born from a golden collaboration with rapper Shing02 who was featured on the classic hip hop masterpiece 'Luv (sic).' 'A Day By Atmosphere Supreme' is a heart-warming instrumental tune recently covered by Emancipator on his tribute album 'Modal Soul Classics II.' Nujabes' remix version of 'Latitude' features hip hop group Five Deez, from Cincinnati, who had been a professional and personal friend of Nujabes. 'Blessing It (Remix)' features MC Substantial & Pase Rock who had established the foundations of Hydeout with Nujabes. 'Lady Brown' features Cise Star. On 'Kumomi' he put his childhood memories and beautiful sceneries from his memories into sounds. 'The Final View' is a beautiful and fleeting track expressing the aesthetic sense that dwells in the Japanese spirit. The record came in packed nicely and the packaging was not damaged. The record and the record cover weren't damaged during transit either. Pretty amazing that Amazon has this record. I went to Japan 5 months ago and I couldn't find this record anywhere because they were sold out!

El vinilo llegó en perfectas condiciones, a pesar de no venir en doble caja como otros envíos de Amazon, estaba forrado por fuera y no sufrió ningún daño durante el viaje, además, llegó mucho antes de la fecha de entrega. Este primer trabajo de Nujabes muestra la maestría del productor, con beats que mezclan el jazz con la modernidad del lofi hip-hop, estílo del cual el japonés es precursor. Nada está mal con este Vinilo, la música es sublime, el arte es hermoso, recomendado como pieza de colección para cualquier melómano.

So happy with this pickup. The record came in perfect condition. The seller made sure the packaging was enough for this to make the trip. I cant wait to listen to this with my wife. RIP Nujabes

Tunes flow but the rappers don’t in my opinion
The sophisticated American/Asian inspired Nujabes sounds flow but the rappers don’t in my opinion. I tend to delete the songs with rap because it ruins the groove for me and I’ve always been a fan of early east coast rap. I wish I could get instrumental versions of all the songs
