Works well, suits our use case where we need to connect 4 HDMI inputs to either or both of 2 display devices and feed audio via optical output to our theatre system.

It works magnificently, it was a great solution to connect my pc and Xbox to the sound system. It has got everything needed.

It’s a simple box that routes my optical cable input to a digital coaxial output.As my amplifier has a broken optical in but a coaxial in, this was a great solution.Quality product at a good price.

The digital output from my 16 track recorder is a coaxial and the input to my minidisc recorder is an optical link so I searched to find a connection to convert and this is great and very easy to useGreat value for money too

The good: nicely designed product. Metal shell feels quality. Nice tactile buttons.The bad: I couldn't get this to pass on a signal of higher quality than 4k at 30hz, despite the listing claiming to support 60. Using new hdmi 2.1 cables and a source of either a ps5 or an Nvidia shield Pro, choosing a resolution of 1080p at any refresh rate or 4k at 30 or below resulted in an image. Going any higher and the TV reported signal not found. Removing the matrix from the setup returned to the picture being displayed at the higher refresh rate. Could perhaps live with this on the shield, but not the ps5.The Portta website only seems to have information on similar but different matrix that is advertised as supporting only up to 30hz @ 4k.So if you only need lower resolutions and/or lower refresh rates this will do the job. If not, this device may not be for you. Also it's quite slow switching between inputs.

Works as described. Optical input on my old AV receiver broken so this device allows me to convert the tv optical to coax and into the AVR and now happily playing 5.1 sources again. Powered off the TV usb connections rated at 5v, 1amp.

The splitter works great. I do wish it came with an HDMI cable or a permanently attached input cable for the price.

I have kinda a weird setup, everything's in my living room, gaming PC, PS5, Switch. Having three monitors and wanting to use my consoles at my desk had required me to unplug cables and adjust settings, but not anymore! This works perfectly for my needs. Can swap between having everything on my monitor or the living room TV. 10.10/10

Hello, I'm the bringer of bad news today.I got it delivered today, put batteries in the remote and the remote is not working at all, the LED doesn't light up as if there was no batteries.Worse than that, the downscaler feature to have different features doesn't work. I have a 2560x1080 monitor and a 1920x1080 monitor. In mode 15 I have black bars on top and bottom of the 2560 one and in mode 16 the 2560 displays correctly but the 1980 one gets the 2560 resolution shrunk in width to fit in the monitor which messes up the proportion of the image on that monitor (making squares look like rectangles etc).Also I can't activate the extend mode on windows. When I try to press the windows key + P and click on the extend option nothing happens. when I right click on my desktop and select display settings I don't get what I should get if the computer was detecting that I had 2 screens, it in fact only detects the screen of output A and treats both screens as output A's.This is really disapointing. I had great hope in this and hope that I can find some technical support to find out and fix the issues if it is possible. I can live with no remote but the two other issues are critical.

Wurde verwendet, um DVD-Player, Soundbar und TV zu verbinden. Funktioniert prima, ersetzte ein älteres Teil, welches nach mehreren Jahren nicht mehr wollte.
