Perfect replacement for the original
Got alot of use out of the original but eventually it failed. Went without for a while trying to find a replacement in store but had trouble finding in my area. Decided one day to check amazon and voila..Works perfect..we're cooking again baby!!

Quality replacement part
OEM replacement for a Coleman propane camping stove. It works as well as the original gas pipe for the stove. I'm glad it was available, as I didn't want to have to buy a new stove. It fit the stove well and it was easy to assemble and does't leak propane. It was reasonably priced and I'm sure will last me for the rest of my camping days

Prefect OEM Coleman brand part
This is a real deal OEM replacement. I used this on my Triton camp stove and it worked perfectly. Screws onto the stove better than the original one that came with it. I left my original one outside through freeze and thaw cycles for a few months and found it had a leak when I was testing things for an upcoming camping trip. Keep these things inside when not in use! Very happy with this replacement part!

Save the price of a new stove, fix that old one
Last camping trip I had unstoppable leaking from the regulator connector to the propane bottle. Sometimes I'll use Brake Fluid to get a little life out of a rubber gasket or seal, but I did not feel comfortable with this much propane leaking out. . I saw that a $45 part was discontinued on the Coleman website, so I had to start looking. I think enough of you know that if you spend a little time, you can find a genuine part (or a great aftermarket) for quite a bit less. And so it was, and here I am. . The 5430 fits my 5469 perfectly. My old stove is back in business. It is years old, but works great. . I have several Coleman stoves, but this one is flat and packs really well. Had to fix it. This part did it.

Warning! Not for Old (80’s) Coleman Stoves
I give this 4 stars simply for the fact that it is perfect, but does not work with our older Coleman Stove. Apparently you can’t get parts for the old stoves unless you find someone wit a used one. Contacted Coleman as I could NOT do a return via Amazon. They do not allow returns thru 3rd parties (Amazon). They were very kind and responsive and refunded my $. Their customer service was excellent. Wish that I knew in advance that it would not work with our stove. Thought I read that it works with “older camp stoves” but I could be wrong. Be forewarned that it WILL not work for 80’s or older camp stoves.

Did not fit my older Coleman stove
The regulator was perfect and just as advertised (thus the 5 stars). But it did not fit my older version Coleman stove. The part that screws into the stove looked different and did not screw in. I researched (watched YouTube videos) and found someone who sells older Coleman stove parts. He was very helpful. Explained that older parts are no longer manufactured and said he had just purchased a bunch of these parts from someone who went out of business. So I got my part in the long run! But cannot say anything bad about the purchase from Amazon as the part was as advertised. But also was not able to return it unfortunately.

Excellent replacement
I purchased a 2 burner PerfectFlow stove and had it store for a couple of years. Somehow I lost this part and I was about to toss it away when I tried a search on Amazon (worst case I might waste a couple of minutes). Turns out a vendor still have them in stock. I purchased it and test it when arrived. It work as expected. Best hot meal after 12 hours blackout.

Engineered poorly, glitch needs fixing.
I finally figured out why my Coleman three burner stove won't work, and it seems to be this regulator from Coleman being poorly engineered. The filter screwed into the input end, the end that would go onto a one pounder, doubles as a pin pushing a safety valve, and it takes a compression set where the needle in the safety valve pushes against it. That shuts off the safety valve, which you can see inside of the end of the hose. It looks like a bicycle tire valve, with a tiny pin in it that gets pushed, that makes a depression in the filter it gets screwed against. That would explain why the stove worked fine for a week or so before it failed. One guy said in the question section that he used a 10 mm socket to loosen the screen assembly 1/4 turn, and it worked for him. I might try that. The other end of the regulator also is a screwed on fitting where how tight it is screwed on determines a pin pushing action where it fits to the stove. That could be another problem, but my bet is on the depression I can see in the filter material. This replacement Coleman regulator has exactly the same problem as the Coleman regulator it replaces. The stove still won't work, again, a week after purchasing a replacement regulator. This is Coleman's fault. They should bring their manufacturing back home.

Finding this product has breathed new life into my Coleman camping stove. Without it my stove would have had to have been replaced. However! £20 does seem a lot for what is in effect a metal pipe. The end of the regulator that attaches to the gas cannister is cast aluminium. This is a lot softer then the threads on the cannister. As such, it is very easy to completely destroy the threads in the regulator. (which is what happened to my old regulator at the hands of my wife & kids!) A brass fitting (like the other end) would be much better.

Not pleased at all. The write-up for this regulator said that it would work on Coleman stove model 5423. There are several variations of that model, and I have two of them. This regulator DOES NOT fit on either 5423-B701 or 5423-D701. It requires a pin in the connector as shown in the attached photo. Although inconvenient in itself, this item is for some reason "ineligible for return". So, I feel pretty ripped off.
