It is very thick. I would not think it would be a good choice.

What is the percentage of molibdenium?

On the Yamaha Motor Co. Australia Safety Data Sheet the concentration is listed as between .1 and 10% is that is of any help.

will this work in a golf cart steering box manual states it needs a multi type grease?

This grease is typically asked for use in axles for ATVs. If the manual asks for Multi Purpose grease to be used, Yamaha's branded Multi Purpose grease is part number ACC-MLTPR-GR-05. I would not recommend interchanging the recommended grease with Molybdenum disulfide grease.
