Nice little compact lamp
Purchased this for a DoE trip to aid the in tent chattering. Actually worked pretty well. Get a good few hours of light out of it (managed about 6 on a test). Nice and compact. Possibly wouldn’t last a lot of rough treatment but for occasional use fine. Wind up power so if it all goes zombie apocalypse we will be fine(ish)

after a year, it still works perfectly
the only thing I want to add is that you cant expect to charge a phone with it which makes sense anyway. But it is claimed that it can charge your phone in case of emergency and I am not convinced. Otherwise well built product ,very bright and good autonomy so far.

Used for fishing.
I use this for night fishing where the session can last 12 hours, for this reason I need a lamp that can last a long time and although the lantern only lasts about 4 hours, when it starts to dim give it 30 seconds crank and light is back so never without a light when other torch batteries run flat. can be used as battery back up for your mobile if you run out of charge.

Works great
Nice little compact lantern/ flashlight. Full charge on low setting lasts right through the night, very impressed. Folds down to use as a flashlight or opens up to use as a lantern. Comes with a winding handle for emergencies incase you find yourself without electricity. A handle for hanging and a USB wire for charging. It also has 2 brightness settings, I've found the first one is plenty bright enough when using it as a lantern and the second setting works great with the flashlight function. Definitely recommend Hope this helps

Won't last for too long...
Six months since purchase. I have used a couple of 'charge doctors' (just in case if one of them is not accurate) to find out about the charging capabilities and battery capacity of this device and it turns out that both are very poor. Capacity is just under 600mAh. This is not a lot, no chance it will last through the night so forget about camping with this lantern. By the way, modern phones have a battery capacity between 2500-3500 mAh. I bought it more as an emergency light than for camping. It was depleted once a month and recharged to full and I did more or less 8-9 cycles (only) and to my surprise just after 2h, the lamp is dead. If changed to a lower light setting it will last around 3h so still not very impressive. "Emergency Power Bank for Cellphone" ahh, nope... They say in the description that the output is 300mAh and 3.7V where in fact is barely around 200-220mAh and the voltage is 4.5V so don't fry any sensitive devices. If you want to have any 'emergency use' out of it when your phone is dead, I would suggest to crank it for an hour if you last that long. Maybe only then you'll get around 5% battery charged to be able to make that emergency phone call. Forget about topping up the phone's battery with it while the phone is on. If you're stuck in the wilderness this won't help you a lot, unless you have a lot of food/calories to spin that handle. I'd rather go for a different brand or just get a power bank with a torch, that's a more sensible idea. I wouldn't recommend this product, maybe as a backup in your car glove box or toolbox because it's small but nothing else really. It gives a good beam of light but with a tiny battery like this not so much of use for extended periods of time.

Fab little lamp
Fab little light. Bright enough to light a room and read by. It has different settings so you can choose the brightness. USB charger for phone, also crank handle. Little hook to hang it up like a lantern. Perfect. Bought one at first and then a further two. Perfect for when the power cuts come via the sustainable energy agenda.

Brilliant little light, kid has claimed it.
I bought this for a camping trip that never happened, but my 4YO claimed it, and I've barely had it since. I initially thought the opaque plastic would crack quickly, but so far, it’s lasted a month of a intense use from a 4 year old as a ‘camping light’ at night, a ‘campfire’, and a ‘shooting star’, so if it survives that, I’m pretty confident it will last a good while of normal use. The crank and body feel solid and well-built. We have been using it with just the crank since we bought it, and a good minute of cranking gives about 20+ minutes of light, which is perfect for reading storybooks for bed time. 4YO can turn it on and off and crank it herself, so it’s made a nice nightlight for her. (Although, shes secretly chewed the little silicon door that covers the charging ports, so that’s not water resistant anymore - but that’s totally our fault.) I can’t wait to use it camping, but it’s been 100% worth the money so far just for 4YO! 4YO definitely recommends it! Edit - well, the 4 year old is now a 6 year old, and has been using these lamps every day since we got them. We’ve used them for camping now too, and they are pretty great! Still going strong, nothing has broken despite heavy use and much throwing. Sad to see them twice the price I paid, but hard to argue that they aren’t worth that price with the beating they get in our house. I still recommend them.

great purchase
Love my new Collapsible Camping Light. Used it once so far. Good amount of light in the tent even on lower level. Especially appreciate cranking feature. It may be very useful feature in the future.
