Great for vining plants
Great clips for vining plant that go up trellis in gardens. I have ordered a few times since every year the garden gets bigger. They secure without squeezing the vines and come in 2 different sizes. Very versatile.

I like these clips
If you've got a viney plant that likes to climb, these clips are just the ticket to get them started on your trellis, or whatever it is your plant is growing on. For years, we've been using improvised solutions to get our clematis started on its trellis each year (twist ties, twine, you name it). These cheap little clips are awesome to help those shoots get started, and they're much kinder to tender shoots than alternatives. I wish there were more small clips than big clips in the package, but that's OK. The clips themselves are not very sturdy; given their purpose, they are small and fragile. These are expendable items, cheap enough that you don't need to worry about breaking a few, or worry about collecting all of them you place. For service this delicate, it is expected that the clips will break or come apart with use. Nothing wrong with that; priced as they are, just buy a new box when you run out. Recommended.

Great for vining plants and tomatoes
I bought a bunch of these from the dollar store, and thought I had more than enough. Then I ran outโฆ ๐ I found these here, and was really pleased as they have been really helpful to clip up my tomato plants, melon plants, gourd vines, and even my sunflowers. They do sometimes pop apart when the stems grow really thick or there is other movement, but you can easily put the 3 parts back together. Of course since they are mostly plastic they do break sometimes. Fortunately you can combine the unbroken pieces to make fully functional clips.

If you know like I know and you train like I train get these they are so helpful. PS there wasnโt all broken up either. You got a nice amount.

So much better than twist ties!
Love these. I'd been using twist ties to hold my tomato plants and other plants to stakes, but I was worried about the ties cutting into the stems. They clip on easily, and the two separate compartments means the stake is held more tightly while the plant's stem has room to breathe in the separate larger area. Note that the "stake" area on the smaller size clips is quite small .... you'd have to be using stakes with a very narrow diameter (less than 1/4"). However, not having tried the smaller size on anything, it could be that the smaller ones work for stakes larger than 1/4" and the fact that they're smaller means the clip holds tight. I didn't check to see if there are bags of only the larger size, but if there are that's what I'd recommend. I'll keep the smaller ones in case I need them in the future -- these are so handy for what they do. TBH the size of the larger size isn't perfect either but it's great. So this review rambles but my point is I'm very happy with these.

They do support plants, but not long-term durable.
Decent product for the price, though the long term durability is an issue as many have already broken only after one season. I suppose that maybe I have unrealistic expectations about how long these clips should last? They do work in supporting my various plants, though I mostly use these for my tomato plants. While the green color is nice in terms of blending with the plants, there are times I wish they were a white or some bright color to find them amidst the foliage when I want to reposition them as the plant grows.

Worth purchase. Keeps tomato plants from breaking
This is my second purchase of these clips. Love them for tomato plants. Use smaller ones as plants are growing and larger as the stem thickens. At end of season or when some not needed I wash them so they re rest for next season. First clips have been using for a couple years and have not had any break so they are worth the purchase. I mainly use where I can clip to a cage, bamboo stake, lattice or whatever is supporting the plant.
