Bye bye period pains!
I needed a replacement for a product I used to help with period pains, when that was discontinued. After a lot of searching I went for this one. And what a good choice it was. Very discreet. Battery lasts for ages. And the added heat function is amazing. Saves having to use a tens device and hot water bottle! The pads are decent and last a few months and then I change them. The added bonus of the 4 pads also covers my entire abdomen for maximum relief. Couldn't be without this now.

AVID TENS USER
I had for years the Kinetix wellbeing Tens machine which served me well until it died.I decided to google the best tens machines out there and bought the top two.1) VitalTrack2) Beurer EM49 ( I bought the EM59 because it’s the upgraded version with more pros then the EM49)VitalTrack:- Company absolute nightmare to deal with- Number of programmes are not as extensive as the beurer-Biggest gripe has to be that it’s not rechargeable and solely battery operated-Pads are not sticky and they don’t sell replacement pads or gel bits anywhere.-Returning the item within 30 days has been a nightmare and they have a 90day return policy.I’ve had to go through PayPal for them to communicate with me. Even just asking a question I got no response.Beurer EM59:-Company is okay to deal with especially as we have Amazon to help us.-The item is phenomenal for the range of programs it offers, I feel like I never got the full Tens machine offer when I had the kinetik as that was basic but served its purpose.-The heat level isn’t going to be that of a waterbottle or heat pad but it’s soothing and that’s all you need.-Pain relief after using the item is amazing.-It’s easy to use- Gripe with this product is; say I just wanted to use two pads and not four, it won’t come on.- or because the sticky pads are not sticky enough it falls off, I guess it turns off for safety reasons but it’s annoying.-Battery life isn’t amazing or extremely poor just not long enough for meNow the thing I loved about my old kinetik tens machine is that the pads were sticky to the point I only replaced them after 5 years and the sticky pads are not expensive to replace. It came with a carry case. And the battery lasted ages. Obviously it’s a very basic tens machine. But I do expect more for the more pricier ones on the market. For those wondering the difference between the EM49 and EM59EM49 is battery operated and does not offer the heat option.I think everything else is the same. So if you’re not bothered about having to use batteries and not have heat then you can save a few pennies and get the 49 model. I think the 49 model pads look much better than the 59.

Excellent option
Very good value compared to others on the market.Huge range of options for TENS and EMS which is what attracted me to this one.Easy to use and simple guidance in the book. Advanced options seem very complex but I haven't needed these.Belt clip is a bit of a waste of time as the cables are quite long and need to be bundled up in a pocket or lie beside you. I ended up wrapping them with an elastic band.Sticky pads are a consumable and need to be kept clean. If they get dusty they soon lose their sticky. Get them stuck together and you'll struggle to separate them!Regardless, pads will only last a while before the won't stick so bear this in mind - you need a supply if this is a regular use for you.I've been using it 2/3 times a week and the pads have lasted about 3 months. Can get replacements elsewhere on Amazon at very reasonable prices.Battery life seems very good - still on the originals 3 months in.If you need or are considering a TENS / EMS machine, this is an excellent option.

Great machine
I've had this TENS unit for nearly a year now and it is a life saver! I mostly use it for period pain but I've used it for lower back and knee pain too and while it doesn't completely stop the pain it helps alot!I injured my back a few weeks ago and was almost unable to walk without this. It's easy to use, albeit there's so many programs that it's hard to remember which is which unless you use the manual, but the diagram on the screen of which body part each program is for is helpful.I really like the heat function, I feel it isn't as effective without it so I'd definitely spend the extra money for this version. The battery life is good although it does need recharging after 4-5 uses depending on which program you're using, so bear that in mind if you have chronic pain, but it charges fairly quickly so I wouldn't say it's too much of a problem. It's also usable on the go and you can wear it under your clothes and attach the controller part to a waist band or belt, but it is visible and the wires can get in the way a bit.Would recommend!

TERRIBLE TENS MACHINE!!!!
OK so I own a TENS machine that cost me under £40 works perfect and you can put it in you pocket and walk about and control your pain, this product however is just to be honest a joke, Firstly I bought it for the heat pad settings , well I never actually got any program to even work with the heat pads actually heating up, next disappointing was the up and down arrow buttons are a joke to as they don't function properly, I'm pressing them and nothing is happening so many times it's just useless and very frustrating, another point to make is the type C connecting for the channels the connection part of the lead is beerly able to stay in as its wobbling about and sticks out and that's not good and the whole layout and design of the product for me is terrible, for over £100 are you having a laugh it's well over priced, the manual I'd also terrible, tinny print no real good layout to explain how to use all the programs its just a complete disappointing I'm now returning it ,people just buy this model here the Med-Fit 3 Digital Dual Channel I've been using this device for years now as I had the original model so I know which I bought back in 2012 then I upgraded to the newer version in 2024 and that device is perfect for lower spine pain and is simpler to understand and costs a fraction of the cost of this at £36 today's price Feb 2026 just do your homework

Great EMS device, highly recommend
Great for lower back pain, been having anl nerve impingement for a few weeks but this has helped a lot.Really easy to use and instructions are pretty clear. The display also shows which area you should attach the electrodes depending on the program, so it is not necessary to look through the manual each time. The heat mode is just a bonus! The electrode gels are a little on the pricier side but it's definitely worth it, as they stick your skin nicely and comfortably.Battery life - could probably use it for up to 1.5 hours on EMS and high heat before needing to recharge, which only takes like 15 minutes.Would definitely recommend!

Good but let down by loose connection
This is a good product that works very well - plenty of different options of programs and the wires and pads are robust. However, the device connection to the wires is oddly stiff AND comes loose easily. This means you can't use it attached to a belt because it comes loose and the device stops working. Restarting it means going through the steps of programming it again and when you do, it beeps every time you press a button so that gets old quickly.

Not rechargeable
It's pity that it's not rechargeable but I can buy 3 rechargeable AAA batteries. It's brilliant! So many programs and easy to use. There's 4 small pads but they do the thing. Don't need physiotherapist or massages anymore 😁

Solid TENS unit
Pros: Offers adjustable intensity with multiple modes for pain relief, muscle stimulation, and massage. Easy to use with a clear display and dual channels for targeting different areas at once. Good battery life and affordable compared to similar units.Cons: Pads lose stickiness over time and need replacing. Some settings may feel too mild or too strong, requiring adjustment.Verdict: A solid TENS unit for pain relief and muscle relaxation. Good value, but be ready to replace electrode pads periodically.
