I seriously get compliments all the time
This helmet allows me to still feel stylish while commuting on my bike. It's easy to clean, and I appreciate that Bern sells different inserts for warm and cool weather.Although I want to look good, my primary concern is safety. The fact that this helmet is made by a reputable brand and meets CPSC standards for helmet safety were major factors in my decision. Also, I'll admit it–I'm a little vain. I have long hair and I prefer for it not to be a complete mess when I arrive at my destination. I feel like my hair gets less tousled with this design, as opposed to the helmets with more vents. I specifically chose the lighter color so that it would be better at reflecting the sun and keeping sweat to a minimum, which I think was a good decision.Another great bonus that I didn't realize until after I got the helmet was that there are mounting points for lights or other accessories. Bern sells a helmet light specifically for these helmets that's a cinch to install. Bern Quickmount Asteroid Bike Light Asteroid OS Added visibility and safety are always a plus in my book!

Measure your noggin’ for correct size :)
I have a pretty small head for an adult. I had a women’s Bern helmet in an XS/S for a few seasons, but it got a little too tight for my liking. I just recently purchased this new Bern Lenox in a M/L, fits perfect. And if I take the summer liner out and put in my ear liner for winter, I will be able to wear a beanie underneath while snowboarding. Much better fit. In my experience, Bern helmets run just a tad small. But the size chart is pretty on point. So measure your noggin’, order the size it recommends, and you should be fine. Bern never disappoints. Thanks!

Love the satin white
Love the satin white, We were looking at the blue as well. The helmet is great, just sightly bigger for our 2 year old to grow into, size xsmall/small. It is light and the padding inside seems really comfy. The only problem with the order was that out of the box there was a big ol' dark blemish (on the super white helmet) so it was a bit of a bummer to have to clean with alcohol pads, being as this is new and we get plenty of used stuff and are used to clean used things. Maybe a bag to keep it clean until it ships?

A stylish bike helmet. An oxymoron.
This one comes close to disproving that thought, but it's still a helmet. If you're going for a classic look, this is about as close as you'll come. I considered those helmets made to look like hats, but decided that they were trying too hard. So this was my best true-helmet option. The black is satiny, not shiny… perfect. The gold accents are pretty classy and decidedly un-athletic. The padded liner is pretty comfortable, and I like that it's removable and washable. The down side is ventilation. It seems well designed for its small amount of exposure, but it still doesn't compare to a typical styrofoam helmet with holes all over. Style sacrifices.

Stylish and comfortable
I tried the Berkeley and Lenox and chose the Lenox because my head looked smaller in it.Pros:* Comfortable and better looking than road biking/athletic helmets.* Love the tightening knob in the back.* I can (barely) fit it over my hair when it's up in a messy bun. FYI - if you have really long/thick hair, the Berkeley has more room for ponytails/buns.Cons:* It does scratch really easily - I dropped in one the ground and now have a nice long white scratch.

Just an all right helmet
I was between buying this Bern and those girly Nutcase helmet for my bike daily commute. My husband owns a Nutcase and besides fun, it's high quality. I end up choosing Bern because of the price, but I regret it. Yes, it's an all right helmet, but now that I have both to compare, I can see and feel that Nutcase is a much better helmet, both in terms of quality and comfort, and I honestly say that it was not worth it saving 20 bucks.

Lovely!
Pretty, pretty helmet--I love the shape, the brim, the silky dove grey finish. I really like the sizing options on the helmet--even with fatty gloved fingers, the knob at the back is still easy to manipulate. All that being said...if you can try this on first at a bike shop--buy it there and support them. I'm living overseas and had limited trying on options, and I'm now of the mind that I should try on as many as possible next time to get the best fit.

The helmet fits a little more snugly than I expected, which might be a problem in the winter when I wear a liner underneath the helmet. But for summer wear the fit is perfect and there is adequate ventilation at the top of the helmet. I really like the rounded shape of the helmet which looks much better on me than the oblong helmets on the market. The color is a deep midnight blue which contrasts nicely with the light blue strap. It is a very attractive and well constructed helmet, but a little on the heavy side.

Sizing is very big
Be aware of how large the sizing of these helmets are. I have a 54cm head and on its tightest setting, this helmet (xs/s) moves a lot on my head. It actually fell over my eyes yesterday when I hit a bump so I've had to give it away as its clearly far too big and dangerous.I'd also say the shape is probably ideal for "sit up and beg" style bikes, but doesn't work on a more forward positioned bike where you have to lift your head. As you raise your head, the helmet catches on the back of your neck and is pushed forward.Quality wise, it's a good quality helmet, feels strong and we'll made.

Very stylish and well made.
I originally ordered a medium because my measurements were on the high side of the xs/s and the low side of the medium. The medium was far too large for me, so I exchanged for a xs/s and it fits very well. The straps are fairly difficult to adjust to fit correctly but once you do, the helmet sits well and it truly does look great. Very stylish alternative if you're not a heavy duty rider.

Stands out from the crowd
The Bern Lenox is an amazing looking helmet with great colour combos. The Matt silver finish is something different that you don't see everyday. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. So happy with it we are looking at replacing the kids helmets. The only trouble with this helmet is selecting a colour combination that you like!

But I've decided to cycle to work every day so I thought that it may be a good idea to protect my head
I am a person who hates helmets. But I've decided to cycle to work every day so I thought that it may be a good idea to protect my head. I've started searching and as soon as I found this helmet I knew this is the only one I will wear and feel good in. I was right. Helmet is very pretty, size is just perfect. I love it and I won't change it to any other!Delivery was incredible fast and item was well packeged. Definately recommended!

Chic cycling hard hat.
Very cool. Similar style to my horse riding hard hat which is why I chose it and also because of the attractive secure strap
