The perfect game for horse-lovers!
I was looking for a family game that we could all play with our horse-obesssed daughter. Someone mentioned this one in a review for a different game as being perfect for horse lovers, so I set off to find it. It was out of stock on Amazon, so I found their website and emailed them to see where I could get it. The creator wrote me back almost immediately to let me know that they had just shipped more to Amazon, and she even followed up with me again as soon as the new stock was reflected. Seemed like a really wonderful person who is more interested in the right people playing her game than selling a million copies. I am so glad I found this game! My daughter loves it-- definitely her favorite Christmas gift (she is 9). There are two different games you can play, a fast version and a long version. We haven't even played the long version yet because the fast one is so much fun. The dynamic of the game is similar to Monopoly, but it's really so much more well thought out and developed. It's fast-paced and very fun, perfect for anyone who loves horses!

Needs some tweaking to be a great game
The instructions are a little confusing and there's one section where it makes no sense whatsoever so we just made it up as we went along. The designers should play this a few times and they could fix the issues easy.

BEST BOARD GAME ON THE MARKET
This game is a must have. It's very original and totally unique. It's fun for horse enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike. Fast paced, complex enough to keep you interested for hours but not so hard you can't pick it up in a few minutes. The instructions are very well written and the board, cards, and pieces are beautifully designed and sturdy. The rules offer several options to "complete" the game so you can pay for an hour or hours. This is not just a equestrian version of Life or Monopoly. It's addictive. I hope the expansion pack is available soon.

Great game with fabulous horse pictures.
We bought this game for our girls at the Arabian Horse Show in Scottsdale in 2015.First let me say that the pictures of the horses are phenomenal. We love that they are real pictures and not cartoon representations of the horses. The game is very well thought out and plays well once you get going. The one suggestion I might make to the game makers is to add some sort of quick start guide to the instructions. our 14 and 12 yr old daughters had trouble getting through all the rules in order to start playing. Once they did it was great, but the learning curve was a little on the steep side.

average mom and even my educated husband was like, "this is ridiculous"
If there was a choice for "0" Stars this would be chosen!! This game is clearly not for children nor is it for adults. I am an educated, average mom and even my educated husband was like, "this is ridiculous"! After spending appoximately 45mins of reading through instructions, it was clear these are ridiculously complex instructions that go so in-depth you lose what the beginning of it was trying to explain. The instructions to play this, what you would think, is a simple board game goes into an enormous amount of instructions within instructions. For Pete sake just make the game like all popular board games because they are suppose to be played by families or kids! Sending back ASAP! BTW, this was a Christmas gift for my 5th grader who has a horse and wanted all horse-related stuff for Christmas. We were going to play this game as a family. This was a bomb!!!

20 PAGES of instructions that are difficult to understand/follow
I bought this for my daughter's birthday and we were very excited to play it. But after 15 minutes of reading and re-reading the directions, we gave up. There are 20 PAGES of instructions and each section refers to another section on another page. I read it aloud to everyone in the room and we all agreed the instructions didn't make sense. We couldn't even find the objective. We love to play economic/money games (my 3 children - 10, 6, and 6 years of age all play Rich Dad's Cash Flow game - the ADULT version) and I thought one relating to horses would be even better, but it will take some time to sort out the purpose, let alone the process of playing, which shouldn't have been that hard. We will try again when we have 20 minutes to sit down and figure it out.

Complicated, yes, but that's what makes it fun! You won't get bored.
This game is really fun. Yes, a bit involved as others have mentioned, but once you understand it's enjoyable. We've found it's best to play 2-3 years rather than collecting a certain number of horses. Once my son made me play until all the horses were gone. It took a couple of days, but boy did we rack up the bonuses! Great for math and thinking ahead. It helps you understand how a big financial risk could not work out well later on in the game. It's complicated enough not to get bored easily. I really enjoy this one!

Fun and original game!
Awesome game! Fun concept! There is also a junior version. We met the sisters that invented that game at a horse show. They are really nice and genuine. They sat and played the game with my kids to explain and show us everything. They were sold out of this version at the show so we had to order from amazon (no biggie). They made sure their game was manufactured in the USA since thats where they're from which was an added bonus for us. My entire family loves playing this game and so does everyone else we show it too!
