iPower GLT5XX4X2 2-Pack 54W 4 Feet T5 Fluorescent Grow Light System with Stand Rack for Plant Seed Starting, 6400K, 2 Pack, Green

These grow lamps have been in operation only a week so I can’t vouch for their durability yet. I have them on a timer so that the plants get about 16 hours of light from them. We live in a low daylight area and my plants seemed to be doing more poorly than normal though Autumn with only a single, small spotlight grow bulb on them a few hours morning and night. My daughter has one of these lights and her succulent collection seems to thrive under it in a basement. I read reviews before purchasing and saw that some complain of not enough light so I bought the two pack. I’m glad that I bought two because the area lighted by one bulb doesn’t seem to be very large. The plants that were suffering from low light before have greened up. A ponytail plant seems to need something other than light to make it healthier. These lamps and their stands came very well packaged. It took longer to unpack everything than to set up the lamps. There doesn’t seem to be much about the lamps that is heavy duty but heavy duty isn’t a requirement for the needs of my house plants in winter. The upright tubes are a little wobbly in their feet but the top ends fit in snug with the cross beams that the lamps hang from. Overall I’m very pleased with the lamps. I think the quality of the light generated by the bulbs is aesthetically delightful and the overall appearance of the fixtures, both frames and lamps, is attractive. I would rate the product as five star but for wanting more light or a broader area of coverage, the wobbly bases, and finally it would be nice to be able to adjust the length of the uprights to accommodate taller plants. My daughter has been using her lamp continuously for about a year with no problems. I hope mine are equally as reliable. I think it would be difficult to burn most adult plants with too much light from these lamps.

The lights themselves work great, so I bumped up my review to 4 stars.Old review:I recently ordered a 2 pack of these grow lights and thought I would receive 2 light stands with bulbs. I’ve only received 1 and can’t find an easy way to contact the seller. There has been no follow up from the seller. The one light I did receive was easy to put together, but the bulb barely fits in the light itself. I had to turn and twist bulb until it finally found the right angle to make a connection. I don’t think I can return it, because I received only 1 light stand!

The one I got is a good product but I paid for a "2 pack" and only got one. So have to figure out what to do. Another Amazon screw up!UPDATE - got sent a replacement 2-pk that I originally ordered within 2 days. How often do you actually get great customer service (like never . . .) but it happened in this case!!

A good light source for starting seedlings indoors. You need a good sized area to set this up, and it can be a bit shaky, but overall OK

Edited:The concept is great. I bought this to start seeds. I can get away with one light on my shelves) lights not as bright as my LED grid lights, but good for overflow and backup.

Ordered a few months back, only received 1 light. Contacted the seller and they quickly sent the second one. They never replied to my message, another light just showed up few days later. However, the lights are great! I waited a few months (going on 8) and they are still working, and my plants are happy. So minus the initial mishaps, I'm pleased.

I am using this as a grow light in my indoor garden until I can move the plants outside. Works great and the plants enjoy it. I have also found it useful when playing a board game - I moved it to the table and we were able to see the game so much easier..

I purchased 3 of these stand light combos less that 2 years ago for a greenhouse. This past weekend I went out to clean up the greenhouse and the cord that is inside the bracket broke. But, not just broke, it kind of vaporized. I tugged and it cam off, I then pulled and it actually dissolved into a white dust. I've never seen this before. The cord appeared to be a decent quality nylon when new but, beware.
