Hmmm.....
I was hoping for a lot from these, given they're being advertised as "reference" and looking at the reviews, perhaps I was hoping for too much for this price. They're.........ok, but nothing special.I started with the tips that came on them, just to see. The fit was ok, and they're pretty comfortable things to wear anyway due to their size and weight, but the huuuge drop off from around 14k onwards just removes any sparkle they could have had. I know that area is commonly believed to be hard to achieve in the IEM world, but I promise you I had £20 earphones 5 years ago that managed it beautifully - they're no longer being made and my last pair broke some years ago sadly and I've been hunting for decent replacements since. The rolloff isn't subtle either, it's a fairly dramatic cut and if it was there it would make these pretty acceptable. Everything is a little off in places, but mostly acceptable otherwise, so the lack of the sparkly top end sticks out even more.I swapped the tips for a pair of Comply foam tips I had lying around from another set and they did a fairly good job at levelling out and bringing up some more shine, but at the cost of losing a bass, but I think these were the best way to listen with these - the foam tips that came with them seemed to accentuate the high cut making it worse. The bass is, again, ok, but nothing outstanding. I loaded a synthesizer that I'm familar with and made a pure sine wave to play around with, and they handled it pretty well, paying full tunes obviously challenges things a bit more and there's a slight loss of clarity in the low end when you do.There's a bit of an odd bump in places, but again, nothing too nasty, but for a "reference" set is noticicable. In the 800-900 area through to around 1.2k it gets a bit pronounced, again not drastic, but does draw your attention at times. So yeah, maybe I was spoiled when I had that set years ago, or they were an absolute fluke, but getting good tips on these feels fairly critical if you're going to see past the high cut. Either way these are "ok and average", just don't expect the miracle sound everyone else is claiming they have.

Superb sound
I first ordered Tin HiFi T2 earphones and although they sounded quite nice, the bass was seriously anaemic and, to my ears, out of balance with the mids and highs. I'm not a bass freak and don't like the typical bass boost of a lot of headphones, which to me sounds completely unnatural. I just like the bass to be balanced naturally. So I returned the T2s and ordered a pair of Tin HiFi T2 Plus. A huge improvement for just £4 extra. Now the bass is nicely balanced with lots of detail and I'm sure the mids and highs are a little smoother as well. I really can't believe the sound quality to be had from pair of in-ear 'phones costing only £50. Definitely comparable with my £200+ high resolution over ear headphones and the T2 Plus have more detailed bass.

Excellent quality headphones
These IEMs sound fantastic. Sound is very neutral and clear. They look amazing with matte silver casing. Packaging is also high quality. These aren't for bassheads but instead for listeners who appreciate detailed and neutral reproduction of sound.I switched the cable to balanced 2.5mm and use with EarStudio ES100 and Fiio M6.My music source files are mainly hi res 24bit/96kHz from Qobuz. These sound great with CD quality tracks also.Only minor issue is that the passive noise isolation could be bit better. I use large foam tips and there is still some noise coming through when out and about. Common issue with IEMs at least for me. This is just a minor thing as otherwise quality is top notch and you can still use these easily when on the move. All in all sweet harmony to my ears.Wort at least twice the price or even more.Strongly recommend.

Sound quality great, build quality, not so much.
They sound great for the price but after a bit over two weeks of use the right ear started going quiet, and shortly after that the connector to one of the earphones came off inside the earphone.

Good sound, terrible qc
Good sound, and decent build on the actual housing, but the cable broke as soon as I'd fitted it, nearly ruining the iem. I've ordered a replacement cable, but I'd reccomend looking for something with better qc

STAY AWAY, DRIVER IMBALANCE PROBLEMS!!!
I really wanted to love these, the fit and feel of them is top notch and cable is amazing quality. However, it is ruined by driver imbalance, I purchased 2 of these and both had the same issue, I even recommended these to a friend of mine (before mine broke) and his set also developed driver imbalance as well. These could have been fantastic in ears but are ruined by poor QC and testing. DO NOT BUY.
