24/6 Fire ring
I replaced my brick fire ring with a metal one. This is a lighter duty one than sold by some places. It is still heavy enough to last a long time, yet be more portable. Sturdy and portable.

Paint will flake on grate
The grate flaked its paint on the first heat. We have only started a fire once in the ring. We will have to wire brush all the flaking off before our Air BNB renters use it.

Good for a fire pit, not good for cooking in my opinion
It’s not bad. Well made and sturdy. My only complaint is that there’s not really enough room to put logs under the grill section to cook food. In my opinion not like the ones at the campgrounds that I’m used to.

Wrong size...
Ring is NOT 24", it is 21.5", Beware of that before building your pit, the total size of outer ring is close to 24", that's all. The product itself is massive, good weld, stable grill, nothing to complain about, other than having to rebuild that stone fire pit around it.
