Bought these for making Alexandra Stafford’s peasant bread in Bread, Toast, Crumbs. They work perfectly! These are slightly thinner than Pyrex or Anchor Hocking, but it doesn’t seem to affect my bakes.

The versatility of this glass bowl is amazing. It is a thick glass bowl that can be used in the freezer and out in the microwave. You can cook a dish right in the bowl in the oven. It is totally temperature safe. I love the glass thickness, it is 1/4” thick, and easy to grip and use. Perfect to make jello, or a casserole, as well mix cookies or microwave fudge! It cleans nicely, and is dishwasher safe. I needed a good quality glass bowl as the metal one I had was not microwave or oven safe.

I had to sign onto Amazon just to tell you how great these bowls are. Heavy in a good way, very clear, (no cloudiness) beautiful glass which is actually important to me,. and a good lip to grab onto even with a mitt on. If a utilitarian item could be exciting, these are. Bravo, Bovado.

I purchased these bowls because I needed something I could bake peasant bread in. They worked great for my recipe, but I've found them very useful for many other things. They are just the right size for preparing ingredients for recipes and a great size to serve smaller portions in. Very happy with them!

I love that this bowl is small, glass, and lightweight. It is my go to when I make a tuna fish sandwhich: just add a can of tuna, mayo, pickles, onions, stir, and voila! Because they are small, I use it every day. A little pricey, but I bought three anyway. One for everyday, the second when it is handy to use 2 bowls for the same meal, and third packed away --- just in case.

Great mixing bowl. Every kitchen should have this, sturdy, thick, quite lite weight, clean looking mixing bowl. Doing lots more cooking now.I have Tupperware bowls, which are ok. These bowls are nice as serving bowls as well. Dishwasher safe. I have whipped eggs and made bread and cakes.No scratching of the glass. Well made. Highly recommend.

Plenty of people seem happy with this bowl, but unfortunately I got mine as a pile of glass shards. Be careful when opening this, mine was a mass of bubble wrap covered in tape, I cut my hand when I lifted it out of the box. I probably could've noticed it was broken if I'd lightly shaken the box and heard the glass rattling around, but I didn't think to do that.

Just had a chance to use my glass bowl this morning I really love it- I love the size it is just perfect for all the things that I need to do. The Quality is awesomeThanks Bovadousa
