Love this coffee! I like more of an earthy taste... not nutty, sweet, or fruity and this coffee is one of my favorites. I tried it on a whim as I'm always looking for a new favorite. This one is very smooth and has a great taste. The packaging is great as it's a resealable bag. The beans look and smell great too. Added this to subscribe and save, which is not something I normally do with coffee as I like to try different ones, but this one is really good and the price is fantastic compared to others that I have bought in the past.

I recently purchased a few different coffees with good reviews on Amazon. Started with several Ethical Bean and Kicking Horse blends. Only the LUSH ground was available for Subscription, so I begrudgingly got it instead of whole beans. To say it's one of the tastiest coffees I've ever had would be an understatement. It's strong without being too bold. The chocolate and fruit tones are aromatic and glorious. It's like waking up to a spring dawn every morning. If that sounds frou frou poetic, it's the kind of imagery this coffee conjures. "Lush" is actually a great word to describe the taste. Like a wonderful dark chocolate, it's like a wave that sweeps over your palate.I use it with an AeroPress with the mesh filter, so you get a little of the oil in the brew. Try it. Or maybe not. I hate having to wait for my shipments because Amazon is constantly out of stock.

Ethical Bean Lush is the best coffee I've ever tasted. Perfection. It's also the freshest - even weeks after opening it the aroma is just as wonderful.

Love this coffee! Very smooth and creamy tasting with little acidity.I have a friend that brings me pure Kona coffee straight from a family farm so I am pretty spoiled when it comes to coffee. After trying a lot of different brands, I'm very happy with this one as my Kona back up.

This review is for the lush medium-dark roast. One of the best coffees I've ordered through amazon and roasted just to my liking. Beans smelled great and the coffees I made with them were delightful. Would highly recommend for anyone who's looking for something in the medium-dark roasted range.

The overall look to the packaging is great. The bag itself is a bit on the mediocre side in comparison to other brands that charge less for organic coffee so it is a bit difficult to pour. The taste was OK (3 of 5). The coffee does leave a bit of a hard acid feel afterwards which is not bad but can be a bit much for others. There was not much of a WOW smell when I opened the bag as with many other coffees. Is the coffee strong> YES and to my liking, so kudos for that :). Overall, I do not think that for the price I would go out of my way to get another ground bag BUT if it was built easier to open, better construction of the bag and a bit of research on its "a bit higher than normal" acidity, then I would push everyone out of the way to get another bag, lol.

This some of the best coffee I have had; it has a very strong lovely taste. I got my entire family hooked on it. It tastes way better than coffee shops like Dunkin Donuts. It is a little more on the pricey side but I say it's well worth it.

Really nice, true to it's description medium-dark roast. Love Ethical Bean coffee in general, and this is my favourite coffee from them. Company is fair-trade and organic, so you don't feel so guilty about your first-world problems when pouring this out. Like how nice your coffee is. Which, by the way, is nice, smooth, and rich in flavour.Beans are always shiny and fragrant. No burned beans or dry stale beans in the bag. Grinds down nicely to my usual coarse for French press, and always leaves a good caramel crema. Recently tried grinding some down extra fine for espresso, and it pulls a tasty cup.Amazon offers a better price than my local grocery stores. Add in the convenience of home shipping, AND prime and subscription options (which also means an even BETTER price), and it makes this a pretty good value for some really nice beans.. . . . you really can't go wrong with this coffee. Unless you only like Tim's, and you don't actually like coffee, just warm sugary milk water. This will probably be too much flavour. But I doubt if you're reading this, you are of the Tim's-for-life crowd. Oh, and Ethical Bean is (still) a Canadian company.Beans are always fresh, in the two years or whatever I have ordered these on the subscribe option (I don't remember because I'm just so lazy now I expect a box of coffee beans every month), I have always only had bags of fresh coffee beans delivered every month. Ethical bean stamps the expiration dates on their packages of coffee beans.Great every-day coffee for people who like a full, rich, and perfectly refined balance of cocoa and acid.Highly recommending as a great value, quality coffee bean.

For it's price point, this is hands down one of the best coffees there is out there.When measured correctly, it brews a nice, crisp cup of coffee that tastes like coffee, not blended with nuts and fruits and other crap, just nice coffee. It's rich, yet smooth; Bold yet tasty.During the pandemic I stopped buying Tim Hortons and started making my own at home, and after this stuff, I never went back. it's fair trade coffee too, so there's that added bonus. The pods are exceptional too.

I could smell the strong fresh coffee aroma when I opened the bag and it brews very consistently every time! This coffee while advertised as medium bold tastes more medium to me. I tried their Bold version just recently and completely fell in love with it! My personal preference is for a more nutty flavour over the fruity ones.It's nicely packaged, easy to store. I put this in the freezer to keep its freshness after sealing it back up since I bought their ground coffee instead of whole beans as I do not have a grinder at home. I did not notice any change in taste.They've also partnered with Terracycle recently to recycle the packaging. Shipping is free; You only need to provide the box. I hope they will change the packaging into more eco friendly options in the future so we can simply recycle or put it in compost.I would highly recommend this brand of coffee!
