Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 2666 C16 Desktop Memory Kit for DDR4 Systems

I must confess that I was a little bit nervous about buying used memory. The product really did appear like-new in original factory packaging. The vendor even recorded the serial numbers on the shipping documents. The memory was exactly what I ordered and worked perfectly in my PC.

Wanted to upgrade from 32GB to 64GB (max for my current motherboard). The Corsair was listed as compatible with my motherboard MSI Z170A PC Mate (MS-7971) which I bought in 2016ish. There were hundreds of compatible memory listed, but not so many still available for purchase. I didn't want to take a chance on a product not on MSI's compatibility list. I wasn't entirely sure if 2/32GB sticks would work so opted for 4/16GB sticks. Installed easy, and not any bigger than the original memory, so no fit issues. Took 3-4 reboots, w/BSOD each time, before the system registered the new memory, but after that seems to be running without a hitch. Price was very good, less than I originally spent for 32GB. Don't use for gaming so I can't evaluate for that and haven't used long enough to be able to comment on stability but so far, very happy.

At 32gb of ram: it would take up to ten minutes to defragment a 2tb hdd. Now, it takes TEN SECONDS. Side note: corsair works with all motherboards. Ez 5/5 and on sale (150ish$), a steal.

Been running this set for about month 24x7 in NAS. I have 6 WD Red 3TB drives in mirrored stripe 3 vdevs ZFS Pool on a Supermicro SAS/SATA 8 port 600MB per channel card. On a Supermicro C7Z170-OCE motherboard with a 6600k CPU. I have 10Gb network dual port CNA card attached to my ESXi via NFS to store guest images. Zero problems with this RAM. Ran memtest on it for 6 hours during the initial build. No errors. XMP in BIOS has this at 2666MHz, as advertised. Hyper 212 EVO fan just clears as it hoovers over the first stick. I Would recommend this.

i just maxed out my ram config on my pc. great ram for great price. i was just waiting for this price to come down and now it's 1/2 price. my pc flys now.... total over kill for what i need but had to have it. LOL

Got these for my Ryzen 7. The RAM wouldn't run with the xmp1 profile, or it's standard speed. After 2 agesa updates, it now runs the xmp1 profile fine, without needed a slight bump in voltage. If I were to buy ram again, I would have gone with 3200.

I was on 16 GB ram previously and this thing is a game changer. Worth the buck!

Estou um tanto surpreso que o preço das memórias DDR4 não baixaram mesmo depois de quase uma década. Já temos DDR5 e 6, mas a 4 continua cara. Fora o preço, tive um pouco de dificuldade na instalação, mas isso é relativamente comum com memória DDR. Não funcionou na primeira ou na segunda tentativa, tendo que tentar slots em ordens diferentes. Funcionou na terceira tentativa, simplesmente trocando os pentes de posição, até que o POST consiga proceguir no boot. No BIOS da placa mãe, ativei o profile de XMP, e tudo funcionou perfeitamente. Desde então, já fiz vários testes de stress, e a memória funciona bem e estável, mesmo com profile XMP. Recomendo.

Las memorias trabajan bastante bien hasta ahora, uso mi computadora para composición musical y efectos visuales, actividades que requieren mucha ram. Al expandir a 64 Gb noto que el flujo de trabajo es más veloz ya que el cpu no está virtualizado tanto (ya que al llegar al tope de ram las cosas se ponen más lentas). Las puse y fueron detectadas sin problemas, eso si, en el bios tuve que configurar para que modificará la frecuencia de la ram, ya que si no lo hacía estás iban a trabajar en una frecuencia más baja
