Decent tamper for the price, works well with my machine
got this as a small upgrade for my espresso setup and it’s done the job nicely. The 51mm size fits my machine’s portafilter just right and it’s made tamping much easier and more consistent. It’s got a good bit of weight to it so you don’t have to press too hard and the handle is comfy to hold. The aluminium alloy feels strong and well made, not cheap or flimsy. It’s not the most premium tamper out there but for this price you can’t really complain. Great if you’re just getting into making espresso at home or want something simple that works. It’s helped improve the shot quality a bit and feels much better than the plastic one that came with the machine. Definitely worth picking up if you’re into home brewing.

Packs a punch
Awesome finish a packing power. Not a light weight die cast metal thing. Appears to mfg’d on a lathe. Much better than a spoon. I am making a more consistent mocha in the morning. Our olé espresso machine likes it also, building more pressure for better frothing. Yes something this simple makes a big difference.
