A book that builds character with inspiring quotes from great people and motivational tough love. Well worth the read, and i will surely read this again and again.

...and when I say loo read, I don't mean the American singer. This is truly the perfect book to be kept in your bathroom, ready for your daily routine whenever you go. Short chunks of text, not overly profound to elicit much thinking that would keep you sat long beyond the time necessary to fulfil an essential bodily function. If you're on a 'bis in die' routine, you can always re-read the last day's entry. Happy with the purchase. There are way better books on Stoicism, but this one definitely found its niche in our household.

Best book I read about life and how to approach it…should have found it when I was 20!

I first bought The Daily Stoic seven years ago and use it every day. It's made a real difference to my way of living and a joyful, peaceful start to every day. I recently bought the gorgeous leather-bound edition (soft cream quality paper, soft black leather cover & gold-tooled titles, gold edges - a joy to handle); this is my treasured bible. [I don't know why it's £300 on Amazon - The Painted Porch sells at £114 including UK shipping]. Really recommend to anyone new to Stoicism and seeking a focus to begin their journey towards a healthier way of being.
