Is the L-arginine actually (L-arginine as L-arginine hydrocloride)?

I am neither a Chemist nor a Doctor. On the label it lists L-Arginine - 500mg and L-Citruline - 250mg. There is a chemical diagram on the label of H2N O and NH2 and Oh....as if this is what is making up the formula, but I made it my goal to PASS Chemistry - not LEARN it. Not sure this helps, but it is all I can write.

Has anyone had the capsules fall apart in the bottle or only when or into pill container?

I’ve had them fall apart in both, but more so when I sorted them out for my weekly organizer. The bottle of them split open and the bottom of the bottle is full of broken capsules and loose powder. Do yourself a favor and go with a different brand. I refuse to buy anything from this company.

is combo better than just citrulline?

From the research I have done the combination works better. Thats why I buy it.

Why does this need silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate?

obviously as a reviewer, I am a consumer not a manufacturer. however, I have tried no less than four competing brands and this one is far and away the best.
