The Seal that lasts
Took an aquarium from 1992 from my childhood and with some care and work brought it back to life for my sons to enjoy. It takes 7 days to dry, and clean the old stuff off religiously, don’t mess around get every spec of it off and when you think your done do it again. Apply this product and it will work. Not a drop … not a nasty yellow color good value, applies good. Vent the room it will stink while it drys

Good price for quantity - is enough to completely seal a 55 gallon tank
Is a quality silicone but read the instructions wrong thinking it had a 24 hour dry but is only 24 hour cure, and has a 7-14 day dry time, which is inconvenient. It has a strong smell which takes breath away and burns your eyes when applied so use in well ventilated area. A sealant tool did not work, you have to use your fingers to smooth the seems, and only have seconds to smooth out. Seal one seam at a time because of the very short set up time and will not be able to go back and smooth the sealant. Applied a masking tape but you must immediately remove the tape, or it will damage the seem causing to remove and reapply, if removing after minutes. Keep the screw on tip installed if you don’t use entire tube. Resealed several aquariums and canister filters. Plus - Did use this sealant for greenhouse polycarbonate panels ILO the clips holds and seals. Allows for easy replacement years later versus the calking (very difficult) and foam which is unsightly.

One tube resealed a 55 gallon tank for me. USA made. Would buy again!

It worked great.
I used the silicone caulk to glue my three cubes, that I bought at Petco together. Now I don't have to restack them every time I change my water. Sorry, not a great picture.

Works great, used 1/3 of a tube on a 55
Good stuff, worked as it should and tank is holding water. I used it on a 22 year old 55 bow front that sprung a leak. Followed directions and removed all old silicone. Gleaned glass with acetone and ethanol to remove residues and let it sit a week. Applied the sealant free hand. No need to tape off; that it just making too much work and when it is full of water you will never know. Let it it 10 days to fully cure. No leaks, been together two months now. I could have used a half sized tube and when I was finished I was looking around and thinking what around the house needs to be sealed up? Yes the acetic acid smell is strong so keep your head out of the tank and do outdoors and leave it there for at least a week. It will smell for at least 4 days, even out in the sun. Hopefully it will last another 20 years.

Vale lo que cuesta
la verdad al inicio se me hizo caro pero ya probandolo me encantó y me sentir que valió cada peso. Me ayudó a pegar el fondo 3D y pequeños espacios que tenía en la pecera.

For the Intended Purpose Far Superior to Regular Silicones Found at Your Hardware Store
This is an outstanding product if you are resealing an aquarium or building new. It is much more costly than the silicones you can find at your local hardware store but FOR THE PURPOSE worth the money. There are two downsides that you learn from experience. (1) You need to allow a full four days for it to cure before adding water. If possible don't move the aquarium at all during that time. Impatience is likely to have you cleaning up puddles and require you to start the whole process over (including trimming ALL the earlier silicone away). (2) Because of the slow curing time, trimming any blobs where you don't want them needs to also wait on the curing, otherwise it will smear and prove to be a bigger task than it would have been with patience. Thorough preparation is needed. Trim ALL old silicone away with an exceptionally sharp razor blade and wash repeatedly with vinegar. (I never go so far as to try to separate the glass pieces.) The new silicone WON'T adhere to the old. Wipe dry with a clean lint-free towel and allow an additional 12 hours or more to air dry. Apply a good thick bead of silicone and press into the corners by running your finger along all joints while the silicone is still very soft. DON'T try for as narrow a bead of silicone as possible, especially when resealing an older aquarium. There is A BIT OF FORGIVENESS for spots of old silicone remaining if your new seam goes beyond them. Then BE PATIENT.
