Pro Tan Overnight Competition Color, Original Suntan Brown Formula 8.5 fl oz (250 ml)

I've tried several self tanners and this one is my favorite. To be clear, I do not compete. I use this as my regular tanner. However, if you're competing on stage for bikini or phisique, a few coats of this will do the job. I get the least (usually none at all) streaking with this product and the tan lasts the longest. I like that the tan is brown and not green or purple like others on the market. I apply it with a mitt and long brush for my back. Both work well and the product applied evenly. Its very forgiving. If you need to gradient tan like arouns your hairline or palms, gently buff this and you won't have a hard line. The ability to buff this means palms and feet look somewhat natural and can be left bare. If you need to use the restroom while this is on, try to keep it tidy and pat dry. I've seen girls on stage with streak lines from a midnight pee. I know, TMI. A bottle will last me at least 20 tans so the price is worth it. I even use this on my face and the glow is top tier. It will darken on blackheads so try to remove them prior. I apply after my nightly shower and shower it off in the morning. It gets absolutely everywhere in my bedsheets but it always washes off in the laundry. Even my 100% cotton white sheets come clean. I would say the tan lasts me 7 days when I exfoliate before applying and with showering daily, but the last 2 days are very light in color. Let's call it 5 days of a noticeable tan.

SO much better than using the host spray tanning service at the competition my boyfriend did...if you have the time and patience (all of the other competitors were literally MELTING On stage! But my boyfriend looked absolutely perfect!). Once it dries it will NOT easily rub off under clothes or run...even after applying gloss and standing under hot stage lights. It was also compatible with the Jan tanna they were adding onto everyone back stage. Be careful with bag straps though. It can rub off. Also I recommend going with the max number of layers you can apply which means starting 2 days before the competition with the overnight tanner to get dark enough and doing multiple layers of top coat. PS I used what I had leftover and applied before going to the beach. Had a nice coppery glow the whole trip!

Tan in a bottle. Perfect for body building shows. Color continues to deepen after applied. Word of advice, cover the bottom of your feet and fingernails and toes before applying, or they will be stained for weeks. But this is my go to tan.

Seriously can’t get over how awesome this product is! It doesn’t leave streaks, ever. I’ve used it about 8 times and still have at least half of the bottle left. I am 5’3 125 lbs. it doesn’t have a horrible door to it, but your underarms will have a distinct smell, so leave it on for the, at least four hours, then shower! Thr only thing I would critique but not knock the stars down, is that I wish the mit used to spread it was larger. My bottom palm is exposed and takes a beating during the tanning. A little trick I was told is to squeeze lemon juice onto sugar and scrub your hands. The color will come right off. I highly recommend this and will be purchasing many more! Already have had several people purchase it when they see how great my tan is and think that I got a professional spray tan!

I love this product! So easy to use with the mitt that it comes with. The color is so flattering on my skin tone and have used it for three coats already. It doesn’t smell disgusting, it’s easy to work with, and very workable to even out. Takes me no more than 5 minutes for a full coat. Some color will bleed through the mitt. If this is something you’re not comfortable with, I suggest to use some gloves underneath. But I never minded it and the ones on my palm come off completely in 2-3 days.

I have tried many self tanners that are applied via a mitt. This one goes on by far the best with the most seamless coverage. The name scared me, I was afraid I would be super dark. I applied 2 coats via the mitt and it was perfect for daily use. I am sure you can get a very dark tan with several applications, especially if using a machine. But honestly the very best feature is the smell. Most self tanners have that give away self tanner smell. So I always put them on at night so I'm not stinky during the day. But ProTan has a great smell, in fact my 7 year old daughter was asking me why I smelled so great. This allows me to put it on during the day and let it set longer, thus assuring a longer lasting tan. This is my new favorite self tanner.

My wife and I like to tan on a regular basis, so we have been trying different products. This time I had found pro tan and thought since bodybuilders use it this would be a great product to be dark. After exfoliating in the shower we both put it on per the instructions. Covered up and went to sleep. The very next morning after some cardio we took showers and 90% washed off of me, she herself was a little better but not what we expected. We do NOT recommend this tanning product at all!
