I got these for my grandsons car seats.
These really protected the new xar seats I bought for my grandsons when the family traveled from Kodiak AK to CA and back. I would recommend them even if you only travel a couple of times while your kids are in car seats. Way better then replacing a car seat $$$$.

Fits perfectly!
This backpack fits the car seat so perfect. We have the heaviest Diono car seat they offered. Definitely not something to wear on your back. But if you have your basic Diono car seat for your toddlers then this will work for you!

Way smaller than expected
The bag itself worked fine, but it was way smaller than expected. Our high-back booster seat didn't fit, unless I separated the base and the back. Our other car seats didn't even come close to fitting. I don't see anything in the product description that explains the size/shape of this product, so I assumed that "car seat travel bag" meant it would hold any common car seat. Don't make the same mistake as me! If you've got a high-back booster than you can separate into 2 pieces, you're probably ok. Anything bigger than that, and I'd be worried. As a point of reference, our Graco Nautilus 65 DLX didn't fit, even with the back pushed down as far as it would go. The bag was tall enough, but it couldn't fit the seat/arm-rest portion, so the bag wouldn't zip closed.

Great but needs stronger materials.
The Diono car seat bag is a great idea, but the durablitly of materials used don't seem rated to protect against airline baggage abuse.The Pro's about the Diono Bag:It protects the car seat and makes it very easy to transport in the airport.The Con's:After 1 roundtrip multiple holes and tears were noticed after the first real use of this product. I flew with United Airlines and attempted to file a damaged bag claim but was told by a United Airline rep that bags do not qualify as damaged goods, even though I had several holes and had just bought this bag for my trip to see family members.
