All Clayton's are the absolute best "FOR ME"!!!
These are fabulous. All my picks 1.0 mm. I MUST have soft triangles like these. I have very long fingers and I need to spread them out to get comfortable fit. Major Information: The Craven, while a touch smoother, I like. Clayton Acetal USA soft triangle are also good for me. Clayton Duraplex soft triangle is great. OK the good stuff: Before I use I determine that my thumb goes on the name, so I never have to worry about natural orientation. And- on the tip that I play on- I SCRAPE UP AND DOWN ON BOTH SURFACES(on the tip I hit the strings on) AND SCRAPE A LITTLE OFF THE SIDES, JUST A TOUCH, NOT ENOUGH TO CHANGE SHAPE. I USE 200 grade sandpaper. Why? Cause when I hit the string, the inside still has a hard grip for aim, and the newly "ROUGHED UP" tip (about 1/2 inch at most) causes a crunchy sound like the speaker paper is busted like old school guys like to do. This works with ALL of Clayton picks of the this kind of grainy variety. It is my opinion, but ALL of Dunlop's Nylon picks I can't use. No matter how hard the are, they will not accept any sanding or rouging up. I just got some Tortex Dunlop Triangles, 1.00 mm's, that will need a little shaping as they are too triangular, not soft triangle that I like, they look like they will feel like Clayton's, so I will try them later. I have no idea how Jimmy could get such a good sound out of his Dunlop Nylon .75. The only thing I can think is he turned it upside down and used the rough part (intended as a grip) and used that to strike strings. Last good story. I was Playing somewhere, and forgot my roughed up picks, and I hated the sound of a smooth pick. So lacking sandpaper, I took a new Clayton soft triangle 1.00 mm and roughed it up on the asphalt in the parking lot. took 2 minutes and it was GREAT!!That is my story, all Clayton's are my favorites, as long as hey are a soft/rounded triangle and are 1.00 mm.

Great basic pick
I am a fan of the big triangle picks and recommend them for anyone to try especially those with big hands or if you tend to drop your little pick.Clayton's play and last the best in my experience. Honestly, I prefer both the Clayton Acetals and the Black Ravens to the Duraplex because they feel grippier, more secure in the hand. This pick just feels a little more clumsy to me if that makes any sense. They are all about the same price.I would only get these if you want these specific thickness, which are a little different than the other picks I mentioned. For example the other two kinds go 0.63, 0.8, 1.0 mm while these have 0.73 and 0.88 mm.

The best pick for the money.
Went to Guitar Center the other day to buy lighter picks for a new electric/acoustic guitar and just about choked at the prices they were charging. I just wanted to experiment with gauges. Can't buy single picks anymore though and had to spend over $4 for a pre-packaged half-dozen of a particular brand in order to try them. What a waste.I've been using these for several years and LOVE them. I do take a bit of the points off with a dremel tool to give me a little more of a percussive strum, but there is plenty of pick to hang on to, even after extended use. The price for a dozen is very reasonable, and makes it easy to keep a variety of gauges on hand.

My perfect pick
First of all keep in mind these picks are green (if it matters). I ordered these picks because I have been using black raven .80mm and I would shred through them. I just got these picks about 2 minutes ago and I already love them. They feel alot more durable and you can grip them easier than the black ravens. Also the extra .08 mm makes a difference. I prefer a thicker pick when tremolo picking. I still get a nice glide over my strings for strumming but it is still stiff enough to keep control and consistently tremolo pick. I will never use anything other that Clayton picks, and no matter which pick you choose you will love it if it has the Clayton logo on it.

Just what I was looking for
I'm primarily a guitarist, but play bass from time to time and wanted a little larger pick as I was finding my guitar picks didn't provide as much surface area as I would like to be able to really grip the pick and still have enough tip left to strike the string. These are a great size - not too big and not too small and the fact that the points are all the same means you can pick them up and go without having to worry about orienting the pick. I like the material and the non-slip nature of it. I usually play Delrin on grip nylon guitar picks and holding onto these Claytons is no trouble.

My favorite pick for bass guitar.
I usually use .80 Clayton and wanted try the Duraplex. Perfect picks for me and my P Bass. I will continue to use these for as long as I can. Definitely recommend to bassists and people who like big picks. Material has some grip to it. Rad.

Something different for me
I wanted to try something different in terms of shape. These picks are really nice and seem to be secure when held.

Great Picks
Nice big triangular picks. At 1.14mm, they are good and rigid. they have a silky finish, rather than gloss, so have a nice feel about them. As you can see from the photo, they are all a darkish blue color, rather than the multi-color advertised.I will be buying more of these, when this lot all get lost - as they do!

Misleading image
I ordered the pack based on the illustration showing it to be a variety of thicknesses. What i received was 12 picks of the same thickness, clearly not what i being advertised by the illustration. The quality of the picks are fine, just not what I was led to believe I would receive.
