Robert Bailey has a unique style with his writing. The character development, combined with the story is vet enthralling. This is a book you simply cannot put down.

I'd say the author loves his football and knows his way around a courtroom. This was a book that held my interest and kept me always pondering!

I never buy books, but I made exception to buy Robert Bailey's books.I first was able to read his book as a free selection, and before I finished I was hooked. I love his style, his characters, but most of all I love the way he navigates the reader through his books.I will most certainly buy everything he has written.

Really Loved this book. Keeps you guessing. It has twists and turns. I could not put it down. Loved it!

The story kept me on edge the entire way with unexpected turns throughout. And so happy that Bo didn’t die! I really thought he had.

Right up to the end I did not know the real killer(s). Keeps you engaged and wondering. Love the characters.

I have read these books out of order starting with The Professor long ago. I recently saw the Bocephus books and they grabbed my attention. When I looked at the McMurtrie and Drake books, I knew they all went together. A very, very good series, but read them in their proper order.

Great mystery did not know who did it. Anyone that likes murder mysteries should definitely read this book. It is extremely exciting until the end.

This is a story very well written, with several twists in the plot and well described characters, places, and Interactions. I highly recommend this book.

A second book in the McMurtie and Drake Legal Thrillers and an impulsive read as the first. The team are settling into place and I hope this will be the second of a long series.

This is the second book in the series. I read the first one last year and downloaded this follow up shortly after, but have only just got round to reading it. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book but have to say that this one was an absolute cracker. I don’t tend to explain the storylines in my reviews, and I’ll not change for this one. The book had me gripped from the start, was real page turner and has an unbelievable ending. With courtroom stories you can tend to guess what’s going to happen. However, the final 12% of the book will surprise you. The ending was surprisingly very emotional. It’s a definite 5 out of 5 from me. I strongly recommend you read both books. However, this one can be read as a standalone if you have to.

Rob Bailey delivers yet another taut legal thriller. This time, however, there is more drama outside the courtroom than inside it. A good read. The climax is brilliant.

Hm... sitting for 24 h in wet clothes you will at best contract a severe cold , in the worst case pneumonia...well, accept certain inconsistencies and you will get a decent and suspense-laden read....
