Great idea... but falls short
The concept of this box is great - but for the cost, it was really just 2 brownie mixes, 2 cake mixes and 2 frostings, with a few fun size candies as decorations. I regularly see the mixes and frostings on sale for $1ish, so $40 feels steep. I was also expecting some recipe cards my tween girls could follow or some inspiration ideas like I’ve seen on baking mix sites, but nope, it’s just the mixes, frostings and candies. A baking kit is a great idea but this one needs some help... either lower the price or include more stuff, and definitely include recipe and decorating ideas beyond just making things according to the box.

Everything you need for a cake decorating activity
I made cake pops with the chocolate cake mix and froze them. When my 7 and 9-year old grandchildren came to visit, we sat down after dinner and decorated them. They especially loved rolling the iced cake pops in the pop rocks. Definitely a child-approved activity. They ate their favorite one and took four home. The other six I put back into the freezer for another day. Due to quality control tastings during the decorating, the candies only lasted 2 times. But, I still have the other cake and brownie mixes.

Misrepresented product
I bought this kit to go with the easy bake oven.I was shocked when opening the package to find full size mixes that are much to large for the easy bake oven pans.I could have bought these mixes at the grocery store for less money.If you are buying mixes for use in the easy bake oven do not buy this product.

Granddaughter
I purchase this for my 14 year old Granddaughter. She loved it making brownies and a cake. I think this was a great idea especially since everyone is staying home.

My kids loved this. I sent them out a box each to have a baking night for their friends. They lived it. So much for the price

Misleading, expensive package
It surprised me that so many reviews were positive for this. The "extras" you receive for cake decorating were a few small candy/gummy bear snack packs the size of what would be handed out on Halloween. Even at full price, I could have brought the whole thing for less than $20 at the grocery. Super disappointed!
