I had these installed on my Glock 19, Gen 4 by a professional gunsmith. I was an instructor for 22 years, not a gunsmith and this is not a job for amateurs who just happen to have a sight pusher. Depending on gun model, you may need to use the included front sight screw or it will be loose.Like the description says these sights are green and some front sights have a red or orange circle around the green sight. If you are color blind in this range, as one reviewer said he was, DO NOT buy these- you won’t be able to see them, but that is not a defect in the sight.I ordered mine with the red circle on the front sight but it is so small it really didn’t help me acquire the sight any easier. The rear sight has a curved cutout at the bottom which I am not used to. If I had it to do over, I would order the rear sight with a straight (square) cutout.Outside in daylight or indoors with light shining onto the sight tubes, these sights are VERY bright and easy to see. In darkness, they are not as bright as some other tritium night sights I have used, but they are bright enough to use in total darkness. The stock Glock sights are not visible at all in total darkness, so night sights are a very worthwhile upgrade.The front edge of the rear sight is cut at an angle that allows the shooter to rack the slide, using only one hand, by catching it on the edge of a boot, shoe, belt, etc. Very useful if the shooter is injured and only has the use of one hand. (This is a skill usually taught in law enforcement training).I have been using these sights for about 8 months and the brightness level in total darkness appears unchanged.

I bought 3 of these sights for all light conditions. I replaced some aging Trijicons, Meprolight, and SigLite sights.These are by far much brighter in both day time and lowlight conditions. Installation was easy enough except for the Sig * Ill elaborate more at end. Pistols were a Gen 1 Glock21 in .45, a Gen 4 G23 in .40S&W and a Sig Sauer P226 Dark elite 9mm.My eyes are aging to the point I need reading glasses. This has become a problem shooting pistols, I can wear a split bi-focal but it hampers any long distance shooting beyond 20yds. These sights offer a much bigger and contrasted Orange front sight that is easy to see without reading glasses and both the front and rear have Fiber optic glow in really bright conditions! My only complaint was mounting on a Sig Sauer P226 witch the company does not offer a specific Part number for. I had to modify (filing down the wedge) on my sight drastically to fit my 226 dovetail on the rear. But as you can see in the pics they all mounted up nice and were not too tall or snagging clothing or holsters. I am happy with these sights and glad i can shoot very well with out reading glasses
