The unit came in an open condition and I managed to strap it back however the circulation fan was not working.. I had to send it back...wanted a replacement but got a refund instead.

Do not buy this product nor anything from this seller if you dont want to loose your money.

The lack of "smart" features is exactly why I went with this one. I am a tech professional, I understand it very well. I still don't know why I would want to use wifi and an app. This is smaller than my previous sous vide cooker, and technically slightly less wattage. I enjoy the smaller size, and given the fairly rapid heating time, I can't tell any problems with the lower wattage. Heats quickly, cooks within the temp zone accurately as far as I could tell with my other thermometers. The clamp works great on the pot I usually use, and it seems like it would work on a variety of clamp spots. It holds the cooker much better than I first thought it would when I picked up the light weight clamp part. The food came out as expected, it was quiet during operation, and so far I have no doubt it'll be a good workhorse for a long while.

Picked this up a while ago, and have used it maybe a dozen times. Firstly, it was very accurate +/- 1 deg C with a separate known good digital thermometer I have. Secondly, and more importantly, it isn't full of gimmicky "features" like wifi or bluetooth and that all rubbish which is there for no other reason than as a cash grab. This works well, is simple to set up and run, is fairly quiet, and even has a head attachment to deflect the water flow so as not to damage delicate food products (e.g. fish, tofu, etc). Comes up to temp quickly (which was the only reason I hesitated, due to it's 800watt designation), and stays at temp for up to 99 hours (like seriously?!). I also like the holster design, which means I could easily pull it out of the water quickly.

Simplemente funciona a la perfección, no es necesario gastar más de 3 mil pesos en funciones como wifi o bluetooth. Si las apps de los otros sous vides son descontinuadas te quedarás con un caro pisapapeles. Este funciona genial, pones el tiempo y la temperatura y listo! Hasta alarma tiene. Sólida compra.

This is a nice basic entry level sous vide cooker. No hookups for the phone. That’s extra stuff some don’t want. Easy to set the temp and use and makes your food amazing! As a bonus, this also works as a water heater for RV use. I know, not the intended use but it worked very well to heat 3 gallons of water via my inverter while I drove the other day. Basically an almost free shower. Highly recommended.
