LED light
Glad I bought this sits perfectly in my solid glass bowl gives off lovely soft light reflected on walls and ceiling

Good buy
After a long search for the right uplighter these are a good buy - lightweight - bulb easy to fit (buy separately as not provided). As someone else has said - the length of the power cord is only a meter long so I needed to use an extension cord to use it on top of a tall cupboard.

Nice lamp, solid feel, 1m lead
These are nice looking, solid feeling lights with a soft plastic base so it won't scratch furniture. The bulb is visible if the light is below eye level so to my mind it looks best if installed above eye level on top of shelves or a cabinet as an uplighter. However the lead is only 1 metre long with the (sealed) switch 40cm from the light so installation above eye level is likely to involve extension leads and an inconvenient switch location.The inline switch cover cannot be opened to change the lead.

Beware this is a rogue supplier who does not refund money
I received this which was totally unsuitable and returned it only to be refunded a few pence instead of the full amount and when I complain to Amazon they put me back to this supplier.
