Bought this cover (the 'small') to contain my climbing 8 lb dog in the matching crate. Am thrilled with it, it's everything I could ask for. This top, with the expandable crate are very nice looking, important to me as it needs to be out in the open in my condo. His sleeping crate, bowls, and mat are in there, with plenty of room to spare. At this point he only needs to be kept in there when we are gone for an extended amount of time, to keep him out of trouble (chewing, annoying the cat, etc). Very easy to put on and take off. Perfect for my needs.

Fits perfect, looks nice and latch system works well. We originally did not buy the top because thought it would be clumbsy and difficult. We have two French Bull dogs that use this crate (fully expanded) we wish we would have bought the top right away. Definitely wirth the money

It's ok. It's somewhat loose. You can easily have it come off if you slide it since the "prongs" are short. If you use ties, it's fine. But you have to take the ties off each time you want to open it.

All of the Richell products are of superior quality. We bought this to use with the Richell Expandable Pet Crate, which btw is absolutely excellent product, looks more like furniture rather than a pet crate.
