Hyundai Excel & Accent, 1986-2009 (Haynes Repair Manual)

Great book, way cheaper than AutoZone. Pretty fast delivery. Really helped me out when replacing water pump and timing belt.

Little vague in some areas but it gives you a great idea of what needs to get done. I wish it had more pics in the book. Also the book is a little bit hard to navigate through. It has all the torque specs and I'm at least able to get the job done. I would recommend getting this book if you plan on changing a head gasket!

The book provided guidance and great suggestions I didn't think about.

The book is well written and helpful, but lacks clarity sometimes.IE; electrical drawings shows one of this year, then the next year, then skips several years.If the car you own is within the skipped (or is it Missing) area,are you to deduct that your model year is like the one before the skip,the page after the skip, or is it just not included?This occurs often and not just in the diagrams.It refers to some sensor or part, but doesn't show you where that is located,on the car.I want to install a set of gauges and there is no diagram showing where theoil pressure or water temp sensors (or switches) are located. So how do I find them, since there are numerous sensors screwed into the block and other placeson the Accent engine.

These are so hard to find around where I live for this year of my car. I ordered it and it has come in so handy. I couldn't live without it. Barely any problems with this car but when there are, it is quick and cheap to fix with this guide. It saved way more than it cost just on replacing the first part for labor and it only took about an hour.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and I have never had a problem returning anything so here's my advice to you; buy it and try it, if it doesn't work; return it for a refund, even if it is open and has been used. No other web site allows you to do this!

This works for all my home maintenance needs. I use it in conjunction with YouTube videos to get an idea of work i can and can't do on my own. It's nice to have all the information in the palm of your hands away from a computer screen. My only qualm is that it looks like they use older model pictures for new model vehicles at some points, but I could be wrong. Also, the general information is just that, so there isn't a need to be so picky. However, with the price you pay for this manual you can really get a lot accomplished and have fun working on your own car.

No one in San Antonio, sells this book, they were always out of them, or they had every single one of them for all the hyundai cars aside from mine. So thank you for having it. Had to change my timing belt.

Bought a second hand hyundia accent it was a 99 and was around 17yrs old at the time the manual was invaluable so would definitely recommend

I always enjoy these manuals. Well written clear concise directions. Even a novice should be able to do a lot of tasks, if you just follow the directions. True professionals, you can't go wrong. I recently did over a 2003 model,and this was just invaluable. Time saver. Did brakes, body and electrical. I do have experience, but every car has tips and tricks to save money and time. Satisfied in NB Canada!

In this book you can find informtion about accent from 1996. But from the newer model 2006+ there is not enough information.If you have old medel it will help you, if you have the last model do not buy it.

i have never rellied solely on these books for car work, but they are always consulted and are great for getting torque values etc.
