What's the difference between the GST 1003 and the GST 1004?

From what I can tell on the Wilson site:http://www.downtownathletic.com/pdfs/catalogs/wilson/2013-Wilson-Fall.pdf, the 1003 is the "Official Collegiate Pattern" and the 1004 is the "Official Pro Pattern." I think that means the 1003 is just slightly smaller but still within the specs of a collegiate ball. Both are approved for NCAA and NFHS use. I'm guessing the 1003 is used more in high school ball. I hope that helps.

Is it okay for streets/concrete ?

NO!!!!! This is one of the best,BUT IT IS NOT made for concrete or hard abrasive surfaces. It wont last long on concrete or hard abrasive surfaces. It is best for Grass or turf use only!

I need to know if this ball (wilson f1780 gst composite) is nfhs approved. can anyone certify that to me?

The 1780 is stamped NFHS. However it's only approved for on-field play, not in-game play. Meaning it's size is functionally appropriate for practice. The Wilson "Game" & "Prime" balls are NFHS & NCAA approved for official game use.

Great ball.

I made my purchase in March of 2025. I must say the overall quality of this product far exceeded my expectations. Amazing grip and feel. The only issue I have is in the durability of the product. After owning and using for about 3 months it went flat out of nowhere. No visible rips, tears, or puncture wounds. Other than that a great product I would definitely recommend to others.

La vrd el balón se siente de muy buena calidad k es lo k uno esperar de estos balones, un punto muy bueno es k ya viene inflamado, la entrega no tardo nada, venia muy bien empacado, eso si un punto malo es la costura de las puntas viene dispareja como “mal cocida” pero es algo k casi no se nota o se siente, dejando de fuera eso es una muy buena inversión comprar este balón, vale la pena cada centavo y recuerden hacerle su tratamiento para elevar el balón a su máximo potencial. EXCELENTE BALÓN!!
