The 6-qt steamer fits perfectly inside a standard 5-qt stock pot. Slightly taller, which is a good thing for easily lifting it out of boiling water. Makes a great pasta strainer insert or for making soup.

After searching hours for low carb cooker, finally found alternative and save money. Great fit. My cooked rice is perfect 1:1 basmati:homali.

Pretty good product. Mine came with a small dent on the side, but hardly noticeable. It was just clear as day to me cause of my ocd with things being symmetrical. Seems like others kind of have the same problem, so I do think it's a bit overpriced, but it's overall a solid product. I'm gonna keep it because it's still pretty useful. Overall the product is fairly strong and much easier to clean than the mesh ones. I got the 6 quart basket and though some may use it to steam veggies. I actually used it to blanch my meat so far. makes it easier to separate and continue preparing my food like a coriander. I'll likely use it to pressure cook meats too in my instant pot and probably air fryer too. The silicone orange cover and metal handle is easily removable and to wash. I had no problem grabbing the orange handle with my hand in a boiling pot on high, but probably wise to use tongs or something. I'd still recommend this product. The pictures are post using the item in high heat and washing as well. No discoloration or anything so far.

Way better than the fan ones. I have literally gotten cut washing the fan ones. This is so easy to clean, it really is amazing. No multiple parts, just the basket and handle. No screws to come loose. Best food steamer! It does get stained easily but just use a bit of powdered Ajax and it comes right off

I love to steam/pressure cook veggies in my 3Qt Instant Pot. Unfortunately, IP doesn't make steamer baskets in that size, so here I am. I chose this one because the one-piece construction feels a lot sturdier and easier to clean than a mesh basket, and after a month of using it several times a week, I do not regret my choice. It's very sturdy, the stainless steel is thick enough, and the whole thing is smooth. The little silicon thingy on the handle is very useful to avoid burning your hands (!). Pour 1 cup of water in the IP's inner pot, put the steamer basket over that, with your veggies inside, and just cook. Then lift if out, put it in the sink and let it drain a bit (this seems to be necessary for some veggies that retain water even if steamed). Doubles as a very nice colander, and is extremely easy to clean - nothing gets in the holes. I wash it by hand in 10s, so I can't say how well it'd do in the dishwasher. I only wish they made a shallower one so I could stack it on top of my high trivet and cook something else below.

I bought this steamer basket thinking I’d use it once or twice a month. Joke’s on me — I now steam things I didn’t even know could be steamed. Broccoli? Obviously. Eggs? Yup. It’s also surprisingly versatile, I’ve used it in other pots too when I want to avoid pulling out the Instant Pot. It handles it all like a champ. If you want to feel like a wholesome, organised adult who steams vegetables instead of microwaving sad leftovers, this basket is your moment. Great value, super easy to use, and you’ll be steaming everything in sight before you know it.
