This was a pretty fun item to use. Definitely was very easy and simple to use and came with step by step instructions. I would recommend this seller specially with times like these, growing your own produce sounds like a pretty good and smart idea. It was made of sturdy material and came with 2 starter packs of seeds. I’d have to say, I’m pretty impressed.. definitely was not expecting it to work this good but I’m so glad I have it a try.

I've been sprouting in mason jars for years to grow broccoli sprouts but decided to try this tray and am so glad I did. Easy to use and generates a nice amount of sprouts. Kind of a pain to get the sprouts off the tray once they are ready to harvest but I'm not sure there's a better alternative.

This was my first try at growing sprouts and it worked fabulously. It came with alfalfa and broccoli seeds to start which was perfect to get me started. There were no defects in the product. Instructions manual is easy to follow and the labeled to keep tract of the washes is vital for a busy absent minded person. It is perfect that it’s metal and not plastic. It looks like it belongs in the kitchen and it is pretty. It can easily be stored put with the pots and pans and not be damaged. Overall It is a great purchase.

this was my first try at growing sprouts and it worked fabulously. i was a bit concerned when i read that sprouting can be dangerous but i did steam them after pulling them up. this is an attractive way to do it but to be honest it's a real pain in the arse to clean the mesh. they need to come up with some sort of a comb that will help dislodge the sprouts so that there aren't many left behind for you to pick out or brush out. anyway i will keep doing it but also look for some way to make it easier to clean.

Shortly after receiving the sprouter, i washed it and set it up for first use. I noticed this neon yellow liquid had pooled below it on the countertop. The source of the liquid was a yellow substance under the lip of the mesh tray that got wet. I definitely did not want to continue using it and not being sure of what it was, I let the tray sit in water and soap for a few weeks. The yellow material didnt dissolve or fade in color and after trying to scrape it off,I managed to pull some out. It looks fibrous and super neon. It's caught between the wall and lip of the tray and there's more trapped than what I can see/get to. Is it a type of fiber glass, is it radioactive - I wont risk using it and will have to toss since it may not be safe. Unfortunately, i missed the return window because i was really hoping it was some grease left over from manufacturing (still not acceptable, but i really wanted it to work out). Please Amazon, be more accountable when vetting/allowing vendors and products on your site. And for those who bought or plan to buy this (don't) or at least check if you have the same issue.

Lid keeps the seeds from getting too dry. They never stay too wet like in jars. The only thing I didn't like was the difficult clean up which I remedied by simply stirring them with each rinse. That prevents them from growing through the strainer. Very little brushing is required, instead of brushing and cussing!

This is a wonderfully easy to use sprouted. It is nice looking, very efficient, easy to use and easy to clean. I am new to sprouting and this product has made it a total success. I would highly recommend!

My son loves fresh sprouts and this was an excellent gift. High quality materials and works great!
