Works great, it continues to work after several seasons of starting the Big Green Egg. I like it so well I ordered another as a spare. Less than half the price of the BGE Eggnighter and works better.

Use it in my smoker. Dump lump charcoal, and less than a minute later sparks are flying. Could not be easier. I picked this one for the longer cord.

Glad I did. I have fire in about 3-5 minutes. It would be quicker than that, but I move it around the hard lump wood charcoal. My biggest like though, is the outer red barrel does not get too hot to touch. Yes, at the tip it does of course, but up by the handle it does not. Very happy with this purchase

Lites a grill in less than 10 minutes and the grill gets up to temp much faster than using the fire starter cubes. My only complaint is it's not an on/off button to start it, it's a slider that you continually have to hold to keep the lighter going.

Ive been using this for a few months and the thing works just like new. Idk why people have theirs melting, I have mine pretty close to flames frequently and havnt had any issues. Takes a few minutes to get your coals going but so does every other method.
