Excellent item: got it because it was purported to have longer sides (?) in case you have a larger/'taller' mattress.(Seeing as I just got a new mattress with double the thickness of my old one, this seemed like a great choice to make. c: ) So yeah: this definitely managed to fit my super-fat mattress very well.Very easy to get on the mattress (easier than my actual fitted sheet, that's for sure). Speaking of, my fitted sheet fit comfortably over this, as it's not very bulky, and it doesn't move much once it's on. Flat sheet and comforter/duvet all fit as well, obviously.Initially, I was worried that I'd be able to feel or hear this thing whenever I lay down, but nope! Even if I'm under the comforter and on top of only the flat and fitted sheets, there's nothing uncomfortable or overtly noticeable about this protector. If anything, it made my already plush mattress feel even MORE plush. Haha.So yeah. Super happy with this sucker.

With the time it losts it waterprooveness. It turnes yellowish and broke all over the elastic band. It also was smaller than our twin beds, I dont know why.

I first thought why did I buy this, until I spilled a whole glass of orange juice on the sheet atop it while getting into bed for the night.Sheet went into the tub, but mattress cover wiped right down and I was in bed 15 minites ;later. Truly silent, great prodict.

It's comfortable, love the knit sides, and it is NOT NOISY! I haven't had a chance to wash it - and my cat hasn't had an accident yet -- but I'll update this review when I can report on those issues.

Nice looking and stays put as it should. I have it on a memory foam mattress and it gives the mattress the extra protection I wanted.
